Happy Thursday Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to our US Cruisers!

Wouldn't you know it. No alarm to wake me up and I'm still awake at 5 am.

Have a great day everyone!

I had my own variation of an alarm this morning - my only morning to sleep in. Lisa was off school yesterday (amazingly this was not a day the kids had to give back for the hurricanes). So, she went to work with me. She helped in the morning, but slept from 1pm - 5pm in my office. Needless to say, she was up early this morning and she felt the absolute necessity of waking me up as well. THe next two mornings I have to up early to get her to various gymnastic related events and Sunday for church. I so wanted to sleep in today. Well, I guess I can start all of those items I put off for doing over Thanksgiving - cards, packing, etc. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

THIS JUST IN!!!

For those of you considering the Kenmore/Whilrpool washers and dryers:

Our Sears ad came in the paper today and they are listing the Kenmore Elite HE3 washer at 999.99 and the Kenmore Elite HE4 dryer at 799.99 FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY!

Karen, I've been watching our Cat 7 and it went up about $1000 too. Really nice to book early :D

Woo Hoo - another unexpected top!

Good Morning All!!

Got the turkey in the oven. The rest of the family is still asleep, the cat helped some, LOL.

Sharon, sorry you had a "unintended" wake up call. It never fails does it?

OM - That's an OUTSTANDING price on those appliances! I think ours were just under $2000 for the pair (before tax)

Just popping in real fast to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Got everything in the oven and heading over to Mom's as soon as it's done --- we have to eat really early because my SIL has to work this afternoon --- that's okay just sets us up for round two this evening!!!! Hopefully, DH will make it home for round two --- working for the railroad you never know, but right now it looks good.

Missed yesterday --- so catch me up if there's anything new. Stayed home to cook and shovel the snow --- big surprise --- a trace to 1 inch turned into 8 - 9 inches of snow overnight on Tuesday --- SNOW DAY for me!!! Of course, now my back hurts --- it was a really wet heavy snow --- but really pretty!! Won't be missing that this Christmas --- I'll be having a White "Sand" Christmas!!!!

I too am checking in before I go and read the paper and start doing my Turkey prep.

Happy Thanks giving Everyone!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Well, Mr. Bird did thaw out, and is now resting comfortably in the roaster. Smells like Thanksgiving already.
I am giving thanks this morning for all of the wonderful friends that I have made here, and feeling sad already for that moment when we say good bye on the ship.
How's that for really putting the cart before the horse?

WILL YOU PLEASE STOP DOING THIS TO ME???????

I refuse to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Besides, all of the presents have already been mailed.

All alone again, I see......

Watching the parade. One day I'd like to be there. Glenelgmom and her family are there, and I'm jealous.

Patty.....say hello to my brother for me, he lives in Olathe.

Angela (athurstance)...finally found out where my daughter's friends live....it's Stevenage, Herts.

I had to open the patio doors and the windows....Mr. Bird is letting off a lot of steam. Probably protesting the way he was violated this morning!!!:teeth:

Naw - I'm here.... just can't believe what some patients come in for on the holidays for......

Oh well - I guess I'd be bored....The only bad thing is I have to pay $9/patient in liability insurance - and there isn't anyway I'm going to recoup that from some of the ones I'm seeing today....

Oops, sorry. Just thought if anyone was inclined to get these, now is the time.

I've been shopping ONCE on the day after Thanksgiving. Not sure I'll ever do it again. Now with a mouse and a UPS man I rarely go out. I'd make a good agoraphobic! ;)

Hmmm, think of it this way, Stacey....if you got these you wouldn't HAVE to mail them!! COOL!!!!! For that matter, you wouldn't even have to wrap them! ;)

i'm here as well

those kids are trying for an unthinkable three (3) pages today (unthinkable for the teen baord not here)

I'm here too. There is no homemade turkey dinner in my future today. Mike is on his way home from seeing patients in the hospital, then at some point we're going to see Christmas with the Kranks. Probably eat at Cracker Barrel as we have the last two years (travelling) Play some games.

I've spent the morning cleaning. Amazing how fast a house gets dirty when you don't take ANY time to clean it. We've been gone so much that it's been a drop and run situation with all of our stuff. Plus the muddy dog pawprints everywhere HAD to go ---don't EVER EVER let them aerate your yard IN the rain, AFTER 4 days of rain and WITH 4 days of rain in the forcast. Our yard is a mud hole!

GreGg,
Is that avitar YOUR horse? She/He is beautiful!
