Silly ol' Bear! :)

Either way....I'm afraid we may have insulted either gaRry & Vicki, or Mark and Mary....... (gose, bear.... )

Not Mark and Mary...they realize the phrase "Silly ol' Bear" is a term of endearment spoken by Christopher Robin to his bestest buddy, Pooh. :)

Although it is NOT spoken in the Phoneix Theater's rendition (why, I'm not sure, but I will NOT question the director!!!!!!)

I'm learning fast...
Rule #1 Do NOT question the director
Rule #2 Supply all costumes and most of the props

Ok I've taken a study break (like all day wasn't a study break...) and now I have some more questions:

In the past we have gone midship deck 8 in a family room (twice). This time we are cruising with another family. Their children are a little older than ours AND OUR children are older now than they were when we went a few years ago. Our friends talked us into having to adjoining rooms instead of one big room. So Sept 2003 we booked our rooms: 2102 and 2104.

Are they terrible?

Also, do you think the ice in the refrigerator idea is not cold enough to bring milk...? probably not. We like to have lactaid milk around. We are high maintainance.

Ohiominnie, let me know if I need to email you my staterooms again privately. If I don't see you post anything, I will. Phew, that was enough!

Ok, hmmm...adjoining rooms? Depends on who you are with!! Just remember, the door CAN close if needed! ;) Some people are great in moderation, but spending 24/7 with them gets old, quickly!!

I'd say no the fridge is not cold enough for milk on it's own. You could do the ice thing though and that may help. I wonder if you brought lactaid onboard if Disney would keep it in their galley and serve it to you at meals.

Email me your staterooms....uh....I don't care...but I suspect you mean Mary (WDWLVR). I'm not collecting anyone's stateroom numbers for any reason that I know of ;)

Thanks for the invite Virgil. What a great thread. Every once in a while I pop in and see whats going on. This time, I thought I would say hi. Here's what we've got going.

Grand Floridian 16,17th

MVMCP Friday night Dec. 17th

Dinning rotation: apl (early) Might change due to pirate night

Shore excursions:

Castaway Cay - Bottom Fishing
Key West - Cat. sail and snorkel
St Maartin - Golden Eagle
St Lucia - Horeback riding (9:30)
Antigua - Stingray swim

We are also doing the Golden Eagle. We did this before and it is the MOST fun! Will be fun to know someone else on board

Yes ohiominnie I did get you mixed up with Mary. Sorry. We have adjoinging rooms with our children, not our friends. Actually, they have adjoining rooms with their children also on deck 2 - we are mirror images of them. We might let their girls sleep with our daughter and send our boys to sleep with their son or something like that. Anyway, I know the boys will be in the room getting room service a lot. Does anyone know if we can we hook up their gamecube in the room?

Is there someone I can call about having the Lactaid milk kept in the kitchen, does anyone know?

YIPPIE!!

Dh just said "oh, crap, I've got to get these Honeybaked Ham gift certificates in the mail" (for his staff that does a good job....he always mails them so that the staff who does a bad job doesn't know)

So I said "I'LL DO IT!!!!"

So now I'm going to go feel useful! :)

And then probably hit the sack b/c the kids and I have to be up and out the door NO LATER than 8:15 tomorrow :earseek: :earseek:

Good Girl!!!

Off to pick up Jordan....back in a few.

I finished another sign tonight for the door. I figure there will be no "door" visible at this rate.....

Sorry, Sarah...I don't know about those rooms, but I can't imagine they would be horribl. I didn't think DCL had anything that was horrible.

You cannot hook them up.... there is no way to make the connection... The only way is if you have one of the small screens that hook to the top of the gamecube......

Welcome Land and Sea family.

We are:

MrsMork aka Angie (54) and DH Dennis (59) We are the geezers along with Ohiominnie's parents. But we do act like kids still.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :hyper: :hyper:

But if your kids are going to the Lab, they can use the biggest Playstation screen in the world, I think. Call your TA or DCL and ask them to have the Lactaid available for you. They do take care of special dietary requests.

Angie - don't forget me, 54, and super geez, Jeanne, 85 ;)

Glad you both found our thread. I'm goofydadeo (a.k.a. John). Along with me are my DW, DD6 and DS10.

It looks like we have a few things in common!

booksw - My DW is from CHS, grew up there and went to C of C.

the land and sea guy - noticed you are from GA., what part? I live in the ATL area and grew up in Athens.

We look forward to meeting ya'll!!!

One other item of interest to all, we were looking for some decorations for our stateroom tree and came across the Mickey Candy Canes at Eckerd. There are also Mickey shaped mints for your stocking stuffing pleasure.

Hey, no DOCS here yet -- however I am looking out my home office window constantly waiting on the UPS/Fedex driver to show up! It's gotta be soon!

All the best!

GEEZERS? My parents are 67 and 70 and THEY aren't geezers yet!!!

Careful about the "Geezer" thing...my DH Jay is 54!

I, of course, am still a baby at 46........

Thanks for that suggestion and thanks Virgil for your comment about the gamecube. It's just as well that we don't lug it. We'll have enough to lug!

I just saw Dave Marx and Jennifer Watson's trip log (they wrote the Passporter book for DCL) and she says that she asked for "soy" milk at breakfast at Lumiers and the waiter brought out Lactaid milk, Rice dream and soy milk!

That's high maintainance! I like it!

I may have messed up Thanksgiving dinner already. I forgot to take the turkey out of the freezer until just now. I was going to put him in the fridge in the guesthouse. Will he still thaw by Thursday? He's 22 lbs.
