That's interesting. We recently bought a new w/d, just like those. DH picked them out. I wouldn't have dared to pick out appliances that cost $1000 each, but he has good taste.

Wait until you guys see our door sign. It's magnificent.

Ohminnie....I can't be placed in a quiet room for more than 5 minutes without falling asleep! That is amazing, that the dogs can do that. (BTW....I will be the one snoring through all the shows onboard)

Speaking of which.....going to go take a nap, or I won't make it through dinner and a movie tonight!

Oh, Diana....I was thinking....Christmas cruise, August Mexican Riviera, then May.....that's plenty of time between cruises for Jay to recover. He & the kids still don't know we are going in August, so if you guys really love me....you won't let the cat out of the bag! The timing has to be just right, and I don't think telling him during a 10 night cruise is good timing!

Those are the ones we're looking at too. They're made by Whirlpool. Just waiting for the washer to die for an upgrade to happen here as well.

So, what do you think of them?

Actually, they are Kenmore. I LOVE them! Had them for about a year now.

Wow. Learn something new every day. They probably say "whirlpool" right on the front of them, but I try to look at them as little as possible!

Oh, btw, if you guys get one...make sure you have a chair handy and a flashlight, because you WILL spend the first week of doing laundry sitting there watching it work! Sad, but true.

Apparently when my parents got theirs they would sit there and watch and the dog would sit and watch too!

They're really nice! The washer has several washing options and uses less than a quarter of what a normal washer uses. Nice hand wash cycles for those delicate items. The washer spins clothes so fast, they are almost dry when the come out.

They are nice! Glad we spent the money for the "better" ones.


And did you hear that? My DW said I tasted good!! blushing..... just like chicken!
