Vicki - looking back I think it started it at 24 weeks. It has been fun. Just put one up for the Member Cruise - we have 45 weeks to go!

Have to get gaRry packed- for no not WDW- class in Lansing all week. (Will give him time to recover from horse injury) He only wishes it was WDW.

Stacey does no STOVES mean just you or all of us? I would love to use that to encourage DD to do some of the cooking.

Good morning everyone!!

Just had to pause and reflect on the fact that its been one year since the fires tore through San Diego. 16 families in our church alone lost their homes and countless thousands of acres were burned. We stayed safe about a mile from the fires, but what a scary day. The skies were orange for a week and we couldn't go outside for three days.
So please people when going out into the great outdoors please practice proper safety techniques. The guy who started the fire was lost and shot a flare gun into a tree for a signal fire. Not too smart during heavy winds.
My thoughts and prayers are with those who still have no homes, and for those who lost more than that.
Ok I'm off my soap box now.

Deinse how scarey that must have been. It's sad to think some of the families still don't have a place to live. I agree everyone needs to think first. It is amazing how quickly some things like that get out of controll. ..... Soap boxes alway welcome!!

Well it's starting to feel like fall here. I HATE the cold! I need to go cruising somewhere nice and warm!

The group we normally cruise with left yesterday and I see on the web cam that they are enjoying a nice sunny day in Key West. Wish I was there!

AARGH, The mighty Rippers found that body in Nassau, got propositioned by a street people and offered drugs too...all within an hour of getting off the ship....
We never shrinks from adventure and the trusty electric horse offers us more freedom than feet does....
Our adventures are found in no book. I wonder if the drivers in Tortola herd scooters like the drivers in Nassau?

I don't think they open the doors until then. But heck, you could still be first in line! Try standing outside the door in your slippers, carrying your pillow and see what they do.

Would love to join Garry on his walk to see the ship come into port that morning. That would certainly get you in the right mood!

DD had a sleepover at the dance studio last night. It's going to be a long, grumpy day, and she has homework to do.

Paul, are there folks that book the same cruise every year? That would be kind of fun if you liked the group. We kind of like variety though. Glad you decided to join us instead. Too bad we can't all do the Holiday cruise every year!

Well...projects, projects.....up and at 'em this a.m. Had to wait for DS to get off here before I could post. He has a new game he's playing. Then I got a very bright idea (I am only just a little slow) I let him install his game on my lap top....he's in his bedroom with it now, and the computer is ALL MINE!!!

So...I am doing laundry....and gluing all the magnets back onto our notepads for our doors. Cheap things......but they will do the trick.

Then on to arranging all the snorkel gear.....

Getting too excited here......
