NO well okay. DS got kicked by a boarding horse I went to chase her away and she got me in my face. WOW that hurts.

Ouch is right........you're very lucky the horse didn't do more damage.

When I was a youth, I was feeding this horse apples. The horse loved me, until I started feeding apples to another one.
He turned a kicked me right in the leg.
I went down like a ton of bricks and thought my leg was broken in two.
To this day I still have a dent in the calve muscle, where I was kicked.

Yes, sorry we didn't meet. I forgot to call you (although it seems that wouldn't have made much difference since you didn't have your phone!) I actually remembered about our meet on Friday morning. See, what happened was this.....we got a couple of cast lanyard pins--didn't even realize they were lanyard pins, we just liked them. Well, then we found a couple more in the sets...got those. So we spent all afternoon and evening (except dinner) going from lanyard to lanyard on CM's to try to finish our sets. Our kids were actually into pin collecting! Then came the pouring rain--and we huddled under an umbrella. During which my daughter yells out "There's something HARD in my beaver tail----IT'S MY TOOTH!!!!" Everyone under the umbrella cracked up.

Anyway....sorry we didn't get to meet. Not much longer and we'll meet on the cruise!!

Stay away from horses, burning houses, cliffs, mufflers, STOVES (hee hee)....anything that could possibly cause bodily harm and keep one of us from going on this cruise!!!!!!



I have now officially earned the "Bad Mother of the Year" award...for the second time running.
I may be banned from the soccer field forever.
End of the game...3 minutes to go, we are down 5 - 0.......
playing against one of the competition teams, and they have been playing dirty all game and getting away with it.
DS Jared has the ball, headed for the goal....mean kid from the other team charges him....Mom is excited....Mom (accidentally) yells "Take him down, Jared".....just about that time, the kid somehow gets Jared's elbow in his temple. The kid goes down. And stays down. Man next to mom is saying "He's not getting up. He's hurt bad" Mom is backing away, looking for a place to hide, and saying "Oh, he's okay.....I think I see his pinkie wiggle" (from a distance of 100 yards...yeah, right.
The kid did get up, and he's okay, and I really was only kidding....but GEESH.....try explaining that to 30 pairs of eyes that are staring at you with contempt!


I think Dad will take Jared to the game next week......

Outta here for now....looking for a disguise....
