I picked a great day to go to Napa.....

Lisa, glad you got things fixed, mostly. I actually kind of enjoy playing travel agent. It's like, oh goodie, I get to book flights today!

I've been around. I'm a quiet person by nature. I have to warm up to people before I'm comfortable with them. It's one of my quirks. I can't take credit for the jokes. They're just forwarded messages from my mom.

I think you probably got the "cool beans" from your kids. It's one of those sayings like "rad" or "nifty". It may be a regional thing too. We say it all the time up here in NH (but we are a little strange here).

tkdLisa - I know exactly what you are going through - I just got through with our SSR ressies - we are there 12/28 - 1/4 after the cruise in a 1 bdrm - now I am working on the park passes.......

Yesterday I got my excusion package info from Costco Travel and I know I am late booking these.

I really want to do the Pirate cruise and a couple of others but DS who is 19 doesn't want to do any of these - so DH doesn't want to leave him behind on the ship to veg as he puts it. I am thinking on just booking a couple of them and going with it - I don't want to left on our own - we did this the last time and it was just ok............................

any suggestions out there?????

DS says that this is a tough year at college out in CA and he just wants to "chill out" on the cruise and not running all around doing things - if anything he will hang on a beach................

Help!!!

Lisa - Sounds like you have it all under control. I just booked the horseback riding in St. Lucia this morning. I also looked at the Tropical Waterfall excursion, it looks like fun, but like you I questioned the 80 minute bus ride. We've never been horseback riding before so I hope it's not a mistake.

What I want to know is what are we all going to do when this cruise is over??? I think I am addicted to vacation --- I need a trip to plan!!!

That's great Patty - my 2 DDs are doing the horseback riding..... Kristin DD 19 is on the WVU Equestrian team..... I think you will have a blast!!!

Teens can be hard on your nerves. He probably feels like your trying to "control" his life. I don't know if he is a trust worthy individual, but you might give him some slack and let him do his own excursions. Get him certified to scuba dive! He'd probably love that! I know I do!!!

Glad I asked...What do I know of beans? I spend most of my time talking to a service dog.....

Wow --- on the equestrain team, hope we won't hold her back --- like I've said we've never riden before, just one of the things my Jordan DD 12 has always wanted to do and it looks so fun. Do you think we'll be okay????

It does take some effort. Classes usually run about 3 weeks (two times a week) and then the OW cert day. Ask him, he might be intrigued with the notion.

Scuba has a magical draw, since you are in an element that we, as humans are not normally a part of. This, in it's self is a big plus! The fish, the reef, the life that is part of the underwater world is a wonderful place.
