Wow, I miss a weekend of reading posts and I just now catch back up! Anyway, thought I would add to the postings on our itinerary and excursion list:
We fly out of CA on 12/11, leaving MIL in charge of the dog and two cats for our trip. Flying her out from VT was cheaper than the pet care and she had the vacation time. SCORE! We land in Ft Meyers, visit my grandmother til 12/13.
On 12/13, we check into Boardwalk villas, courtesy of rented points from a dear friend...Thanks Lisa! We stay in a studio through 12/17.
On 12/17, we check out of BWV and check into the Renaissance at the airport. We plan to have either Happy Limo or
FL Tours pick us up to take us to the port on 12/18!
For excursions, DH and I are taking this trip pretty laid back. We've been to all of the ports already except St. Lucia and Antigua. And DH has decided that we are not lugging our dive gear for this trip because of all the stops we're making before we arrive at the ship. Oh well, saving the diving for the Repo cruise in May.
Key West - booking wave runner tour on own (Was it Scubadvr that posted the company they've used before?)
St. Maarten- Nothing booked, not yet sure what we'll do, maybe rent a car and drive to Marigot for some shopping and to visit the French Fort, which DH drooled over on the last visit but didn't have time to explore.
St. Lucia- Waterfall Island Bike Tour
Antigua - Kayak & Snorkel Eco Adventure
St. Thomas - Nothing booked. We wanted to do the St. John Eco hike, but I thought $59/person

was too steep for a hiking trip with no food. Still deciding here...Suggestions? We're not beach or sailing types, and we don't really care much for snorkeling, so that doesn't leave us with much.
Castaway Cay - renting floats and vegging on Serenity bay. We may try to book cabana massages, we'll see.
Oh, and we've booked the REAS package...very excited about that one!
Mary, I will send you a PM with our cabin number. We're okay with you posting it in the newsletter.
Cheers!
