OK - gotta clarify this....

OM posted about the clubs being closed to new people and how KT liked to close the clubs....

Lynda posted that she thought kids were too young to go "clubbing"

A third person was offended by Lynda's post....didn't get the humor in it.... I actually loved the "clubbing" comment and said so...

I am NOT going to touch about Lynda nibbling on Mark......:earseek:

Sorry guys. I think dog stress is catching up to me. I'm pushing school hard this week so we can have fun weekend. And this is the week that dd is going to fight it tooth and nail (she's very cyclic in her emotions and this is the week for her to be a nut case!) Got a lot going on and I guess I just took everything a bit too seriously.

I'm feeling very trapped. I want to go to the wool gathering at Young's Jersey Dairy this weekend, but can't leave the dog for that long. I want to go to Lynd's fruit farm and pick apples and do the corn maze, but I can't leave the dog that long. I want to take my kids to homeschool day at the science museum in Dayton, but I can't leave the dog that long. Are we seeing a pattern here??

I am 54, retired after 33 years with local telephone co. Took early retirement to be caregiver to Jeanne, 85 yo Mom and traveling companion. Been divorced so long now have trouble remembering his name. Jesse and Sam are my dobies and Magic and Wonder are my cats, guess how they got their names. This will be our 6th cruise on Magic, I have also been on Wonder twice.

:( Sorry guys....MY FAULT completely!!!

I've tried to tell myself several times to stay off that main board...but NOOOOO. I just keep sticking my foot in my mouth.

I guess because we know Lynda's humor, Virgil and I knew what she meant & that she was kidding.

I am soooo sorry....If I promise to stay away from the main boards, can I still come here and play?? On my knees...begging...not pretty....too old to get back up.....

Ohminnie.....doggy backpack?? Doggy day care? Friendly neighbor? Nytol?? (that one WAS a joke!)

The other thing I forgot to mention about Lisa (and Matt) is that they are hugh Michigan and Michgan State fans. I didn't want to inflame all those Buckey fans, but you need to know who will be hanging out with your kids.
So it is true..... you are a "trouble maker"

And I don't want to know about any Mark nibbling, either!:earseek: :earseek:

Yeah, apparently my hints about you coming out here and doing it for me went over like a lead balloon ;)

I do have the bathroom on the back of my mind. Actually, the worst thing facing me now on that project is the clean up of the dust! I am going to go and second coat a few problem areas I see, but that's not worrying me now...it's that blasted dust!!!

Denise, My DH is 5 years younger than me. Sometimes I get teased but I know how blessed I am to have him in my life.

Karen, you are so lucky that you got a 4:30 reservation at LTT. I called a few weeks ago and all I could get was 4:10pm or 6:50pm. I took the 4:10pm. We have a party of 6. I called back several times to get a little later but there was nothing available. We wanted closer to 5:00pm. Are the rides open at MVMCP around 5pm. I know it does not start till 6pm but I read the park is open earlier than that. I wonder if the park opens earlier if the rides and attractions are also. If it is it will give us more time in the MK.

Lisa, sorry to hear about this situation at the daycare!!!!!! People can be so inconsiderate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just booked our car service with Southern Elegance for our trip back to MCO from the cruise port. Cancelled Happy Limo after the rewiews I read.

DD spent the night at the in laws and will be back shortly for our holiday dinner. DS and I had a wonderful day together. Some quality time for him.

We are booking the am shore excursion on St. Lucia for the private ship. I feel bad that DS will not be able to come as he is 3.5 and I think you have to be 5 to do it. We still need to pay the balance. As soon as we do I will be booking it.

Hmmmm Ohio State.... Hmmm Michigan....

I think WVU is ranked ahead of them........

We'll see how long that lasts....

Frances plans on wearing her Marshall stuff when she comes to visit the Ohio Mouse family.....

Well, it's a 4:15. I had a choice between 4:10, 4:15 and sometime after 7. No way I was cutting into party time to eat! What a waste of time! :)

It's an early dinner, but I'm sure we'll snack at the party!

I wonder what Happy Limo is thinking. Seems like there's been a big mass cancellation.

(pulling out my delswife epic) Ah, it was Star limo that she had a problem with. Thought maybe it was Happy limo. Nevermind. :)

Ok, I think we've found the REAL troublemaker of the group!! ;)

Wow- go to work for a few hours and you guys get busy.

Just had to add that I am a dis-placed Texan and a UT EX.

Soooo Go Longhorns!!!

I am not sure about the wether we can book shore excursions or not at 90 days. The person I called at DCL said yes, but maybe they didn't have accurate info. I can't book until Sam gets home next Saturday for us to make our final decisions.

Leilani- out of curiosity yesterday I priced out the cruise on the DCL website because my sister has shown interest. They showed availabilty , but only for a Cat 4. Curious to see what happens when final payment is due.

I'm starting a LTT list....
So far I have:
4:10 gail1771
4:15 ohiominnie
4:25 WVMD
4:30 DVC4US
4:30 Lynda
4:30 Dee47
5:00 paulcrsb

Who else am I missing. I've gone back 10 pages and that's what I've found. Are there more?

Btw, we really don't have a problem with State up North State. And, on a RARE occasion, we've even rooted for State up North (always root for Big 10 over anyone else) It was like a weird out of body experience when I was watching the bowl game last year singing "Hail to the Victor." Something was just not right.

No troublemakers here. We're nice, quiet people.:crazy2:

As far as spouses being younger than each other, all I have to say is DH is a Grandparent and I'm not!

I made my final payment early I guess. Started worrying about the TA I booked with, turns out the agent we used was gone. So I'm glad I called early. I bought travel insurance on the web the same day, it's much cheaper to do that. Only problem was, the company I went through required that you buy within a year of booking. Well you know when we booked ( a long, long time ago). Now I'm wondering what to do about that.

You guys write so much that last night, by the time I was caught up, I forgot to introduce the non-cruising members of the family. I'm mortified, because I usually like them more than the humans :jester:

We have the love of my life (good thing Joe doesn't read these boards!) Charlie, an almost-4-yo black Lab. The sweetest, mellowest dog in the universe.

There is Max, my passive-aggressive 12-yo cat, who pees on our bed if he thinks we wronged him (usually after I mistakenly trapped him in the office or with the puppy).

Sasha is the puppy. She's 13-months-old, part Lab and part lunatic. The other part is probably greyhound, we're not terribly sure. She's cute, but exhausting :teeth:

We also have fish, including, of course, Mickey Platties. One of whom my DH managed to kill while I was away.

We live in WA, so I think all the WA - OR people should have a fieldtrip and meet someplace. I'm not averse to the idea of going down to Portland for the weekend, or something.

Also -- made final payment on the cruise today :bounce: and our pet-sitting situation for Dec. fell apart. I am SO panicking. How am I going to find a new arrangement so close to XMAS????????????

Off to tear my hair out.
