Didn't know we had to introduce pets. For that matter, I never said anything about hobbies....
Let me add:
My hobbies....I love cross stitching, but don't take the time to do it enough (too much DIS)
ohiomickey is a computer geek, always tinkering with something. He also likes to write....mostly fiction and editorials.

KT takes ballet and piano. Wants to take gymnastics so that she can achieve one of her goals "to be an OSU cheerleader."
Nick, my simple boy, he's happy with an empty cardboard container and a spoon. Seriously, he's so easy going.
We all love skiing and take an annual trip somewhere (outside of the lame Ohio ski territory) Of course, KT puts me to shame on skiis.
Pets...
You all know Maggie. No need to dwell on that.
We also have a cat. Dingle. Yes, Dingle. We got him from the pound when he was 1. We named him Slider (after the Indian's mascot) Somehow my then 3 yr old dd came up with the name Dingle. Not a name she had been exposed to. Well, it stuck. And it fits. He's always been a....well....a "excrement challenged" animal. Thus he was kicked out of the house 4 yrs ago and I figured would meet with an untimely death (fox, raccoon, car, etc) But, he still lives and is well and often brings us lovely presents as a sign of his undying love for us.
We also have a fish tank. A very sad 10 gallon tank. For his 6th brithday, simple-Nick wanted one of three things....either a fish tank, a bunny, or a platypus. Seeing as platypuses (or is it platypi?) are not available as pets, and bunnies require more care, we went with fish. After months of completely GREEN water, and MUCH more care than any bunny would have ever taken, we now have a sad tank. Fish come, fish go. Walls turn green. Who knows what I'm doing wrong, even the fish store ppl are stumped.
The kids want to bring home Freckle....the new kitten of my parent's barn cat. My dad is conflicted....he had "pail intentions" for the kitty. But now the kids have fallen in love with it. KT is trying to talk WVMD's daughter into taking it in as she wants to adopt a kitty. She knows that if Lauren takes Freckle in, then it won't have to fail it's swim test.
