I'm finally here, far too late I guess.
What a day. In and out, in and out.
Still not packed, but I do have my clothes laid out. I had to try everything on. It was humiliating.
Nope, no divers. Our friends' power has been out for two days, it finally came back on just as they were about to move in with us....which would be okay, they're staying here to watch the kids this weekend anyway...so we went to eat while they waited for their house to cool off.
Speaking of the "old days" and the Olympics....when I was in Junior High, or maybe high school, the ONLY poster I ever had on my bedroom wall was of Mark Spitz. In a Speedo. No wonder I'm obsessed. I wish they would have televised the water polo at a decent time. I used to play water polo on both an (except for me)
all guys team, and an All-Star female team. Undefeated....
I'd like for Jay and the kids to see it played. It's a tougher game than it sounds. I loved it...there were all kinds of tricks, like growing your toenails really long so that you could scratch someone underwater w/o the ref seeing it. Yes...I guess I was a tomboy.
Two years ago, when I finally started getting my nails done, DH asked what was up with that...I told him I finally decided to be a girl. It's hard when you own a welding shop & work with guys.
Geez...where did all that come from. Just proving LeiLani right, I guess.
And it's true....the swimsuits HAVE to be small. Not a very smart move on the part of the advertising sponsors, though.
I wish I could get a discount on our room at the GF. Oh well, I guess you only live once!
Back in a few.
