 OM!? I can't believe you're referring to your new baby as ~gasp~ "it"?! LOL! Just kidding!

Oh my, I feel like SUCH a bad mom! Will you ever forgive me? The question is, will SHE ever forgive me??!?!?

I remember a couple of past visits to Orlando where it did rain for that half hour or so in the afternoon. It wasn't bad...and I don't mind getting wet in the parks...seems to make the crowds disappear. The maps showed lightning, though. I don't like lightning.
One time, at the tender age of 20, my girlfriend and I flew solo to Orlando and Naples (to visit my aunt & uncle) while we were driving it began to pour. We all had to pull over, we couldn't see!
Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Mary, the Trolley looks like fun! I think I may save my feet a little trouble, and hop on!

Minnie....what did the breeder suggest for puppy food? I know a few people who make their own...just like making home made baby food.

Right now the pups are on Purina Pro Plan for puppies. But her adult dogs are on premium foods (Inova)

She said that those premium ones can cause diarrhea in newly weaned pups, that's why she's sticking with the Pro Plan for now.

I think we're going to go with "Wellness" by Old Mother Hubbard. It's human grade just in case we ever run out of groceries.

As for cooking my dog's food....NOT gonna happen. Sometimes I don't even cook for my own FAMILY!!

Stacey word of warning to you: if I plan on being at WDW in the summer it WILL rain buckets. Last month we were stuck in the shop in Japan for almost 1½ hours because of the rain. At one point we couldn't see Spaceship Earth across the lagoon. Finally my friend and the kids took off their shoes and we ran thru deep puddles to France and then onto Rose & Crown for dinner. It finally stopped just before our PS. That wasn't the only time that week it rained like that. We always take umbrellas.
The shops will keep you dry.
Also, just bring all your credit cards you may need them :teeth: .

OK, my DH is threatening to start reading and posting on this board. Who has been telling him that I'm saying bad things about him? Virgil?

But Honey, no one said anything like that :chat:

It's been awhile since I've been on the boards and the posts are WAY up there!
Everyone getting excited??

 Hey, Tinksdad!!! Nice to see you here. I so enjoyed meeting your ever-so-lovely wife and daughter. And your DW has NEVER said a bad word...honest!
She speaks of you as if you were a king!

Minnie....it was just a thought. I've only done it for my dogs when they were sick or had surgery!

Okay....umbrella and poncho added to the packing list.

Diana - It wasn't me - YET!

OMG - walked into .... well - you get the picture..... I came on at 11pm - first 5 patients I saw checked in between 6 and 7.... Not good PR when they have to wait that long.... but what can you do... we've been overloaded with sick patients and some of the minor stuff has to wait..... I guess that the other hospitals in town are worse at this point.

Tinksdad - welcome back.... Hmmmm I guess I'll have to point you to the important posts.....:teeth:

OM - you mean you can't feed the puppy pizza?????

I have to start looking at the lunar calendar when I do the schedule - never again am I working on a full moon Friday night.....

Oh well...... I may be back.............

Diana.........I thought it was strictly a boat ride out to the wild dolphins.

Can you indeed swim with them? Can you tell us more?
Is there a charter in particular that has been recommended.
I curious about the kids if it would be something for them.

There are several charter operations that will take you to where the dolpins hang out. They will then gage the mood of the dolphins, and if all is OK you can get in and snorkel. If they're doing something like mating, I guess it's a no-no to get in. The interaction varies, they are wild after all. Do a search for Key West dolphins, you will find several operations. Most of them leave earlier than we get to Key West, we would probably have to put together our own group.

Virgil, I worked my way through grad school as a cocktail waitress. I still remember the craziness of those full mooon nights. I'm sure some of those people wound up in an ER too. It sure is pretty out tonight, though!

Thanks, I'll tell you quite frankly the shear magnitude of the posts here is a bit intimidating. I'll try to stay in touch, and by all means, it there is good stuff -----> point me in the "right direction"

Virgil....I just flashed back to what you said about last night...are you kidding that you had someone actually bring their child in because he/she was losing a tooth????? For pity sake!
God love ya....I couldn't do it. I'd be asking the men in the white coats to come take Mummy and Daddy away.

Molly LOVES pizza! You should see her when we get out of he car with the leftover pizza box!!

Hey...there were two roadrunners on my patio this morning. I love the roadrunners. Just wish I could take a picture. They're very fast, you know. Too fast, even, for the wiley old coyotes out there.

Be prepared WDW group....I'm bringing wedding pictures! Just a small book. (That will send them all running!)

Diana....you put the funniest picture in my head...talking about swimming with the dolphins depending on their mood! Never mind!

Time for bed. Quickly, before the full moon makes me say something I'll regret.

HAPPY SATURDAY MORNING EAST COAST HOLIDAY CRUISERS!!!

Good night,
Stacey

Stacey - I was wondering if you were going to comment on the tooth - yep that was the reason.... Even as long as I've been doing this - I still get surprised at times.... I can honestly tell you that I've never had a child brought in for that before....

Tinksdad - I know that the posts are intimidating... I'd hate to just pop in one day and find all of these "crazy" people on my cruise.... Glad - I'm one of the crazies..... (I love how the quote of my comment changed hmmmm to hammy.... - I had to go back and make sure in my haste I didn't type that)...

DS and I have two American Airline tickets to the Island that are just burning a hole in my pocket. If Saba doesn't work out for this trip, watch out because there are other ways to get there. I hear American Airlines is one of them.

Living in Central Florida has it's perks, like the Florida resident rate at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. We will be back on Sunday to check up, but for now it's a lot of pool time and enjoying their pool bar.

Life must be tough!!
Your right living in Florida does have diving perks, at least more perks than New Mexico.

Don't get burned :smooth:
