Oops, just saw Lynda's questions.

The only Thunderbolt I remember was in the 1st 101 Dalmations. Remember the puppies watching Thunderbolt on TV?

When we tendered in Grand Cayman, I remember having to go down some steps in the boat. They had a variety of boats though, maybe some of them were wheelchair accessible?

I sort of remember a trip report posted by someone who had family in a wheelchair. If memory serves me, the crew wasn't allowed to help you move into the tenders because of liability? Anyone else remember that report or who it was by?

Sorry I'm not more help, but it's been 2 years since that trip and my brains a little fuzzy. Garry or Vicki, do you remember?

Used to love Emergency - one of the reasons I became a Firefighter/Paramedic :firefight ..... and started the long journey onto becoming an ER Doc....

Dr. Bracken.... naw - too tall .....:p

:earseek: :rotfl: :earseek:

Oh my goodness! Only 2 vow renewals - now I feel really special! I just wish the other one was from someone here. When I finally figure out which day it will be, I'll let everyone know. (Of course, gifts are customary at weddings, right?:Pinkbounc )

WDWLVR-
Me??? Goldie Hawn??? The hockey mom is the only thing (unfortunately) I have in common with her! Too bad its only my username - no physical similarities!

Thanks for the compliment though - BUT I must admit, some Pepsi did come out of my nose when I read your post..

Lynda.....how about if each of us takes you by one side, count ...One...Two....Three....SWING!!! We have a 50/50 chance of landing you in the tender! :scared:

Cindy...wedding gifts....Why, yes...of course!
When I thought about doing ours, I had thought either the 20th or the 21st. Christmas Eve would be nice...but it's not a sea day. Anyway, I had decided the 21st....I wanted to be able to just relax and unwind, (and prepare for the vow renewal) on the first day at sea.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: two4ruff.....I died laughing at the Pepsi out the nose!!!

You guys are all too funny.

Lynda-when we went RCCL last year through PC, they had a tender boat that was accessible. They got everyone on, and then they put a ramp down and rolled person onto a platform that was on the tender, put chain behind you, and ta-da off they went. Guess you would just have to put those brakes on so you don't roll backwards into the water!!!!!!

Linda

(P.S. I want to be on that tender with ya!)

Linda....you can be on the tender....you can be one of the "catchers"!

Oh, Lynda....I'm sorry....sometimes I can't help my feeble minded self!

Linda.....the shoes have begun their long walk! Post office tells me 2 days.

Okay....TOTALLY forget about school getting out ....when is it going to start again????
If I have to listen to the theme song from Sponge Bob Square Pants one more time...........

OK - here's some "Emergency!" trivia....

What was the call sign of the station?

Name the other ER doc on the show.

Name one of the 2 station Captains.

By Captains, do you mean the ambulance guys? (How would I know what their official title is??) one of them was Johnny. Randolph Mantooth. Who could forget a name like that?

Don't remember the call sign. (Still have One Adam 12 stuck in my head.....right along with "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea", which is going to be my television before summer's end)

I know the name of the actor who played the other doctor....Bobby Troup (actually DH knew that one)

Stacey

OK - here's some "Emergency!" trivia....

What was the call sign of the station? KMG365 - Station 51 (Squad 51 and Engine 51)

Name the other ER doc on the show. Dr. Brackett, Dr. Early and Dr. Morton

Name one of the 2 station Captains. Captain Stanley and Captain Dick Hammer

Bzzzzzz - for Stacey....

There was a third doctor..... who was that?

Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe were the paramedics - who was the station Captain - the one in charge who talked on the radio as they were leaving the station. He said _ _ _ _ _ _ _ out. Obviously - that's where the station call sign goes....

Virgil

DING DING DING for Mary!:worship: :cheer2: :worship: :cheer2:

Correct on all counts... Bonus points for naming the second station Captain....

Since we are on an Emergency roll - who was Mike Stoker and what made him special?

BTW - he was my favorite!

OOOOOhhhhh Pick me Pick me.....

I know this one.....

Go Kelly (I mean Virgil):D

Virgil are you there? Must be with a patient. The nerve of some people - coming into the ER when we are doing trivia!

He was the engineer - (drove the fire truck) - but he was also a real live firefighter. One of the negotiation points with the firefighter's union was that a real firefighter had to drive the engine.....

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

I once embarassed poor Randolph Mantooth on a call in radio show because I called in, got through and while everyone else was asking about him and drooling over him I asked about Mike!:D

So see I think Kelly Brackett is a perfect match for you!

Has anyone seen/heard from Gail or Charlotte lately. Sent them both PM's that haven't been picked up yet. Hope all is ok in both their lives.
