Charlotte, you are definitely a night owl! I'm lucky to stay up for cruise chat on Fridays. Weeknights I'm in bed by 9:30 or 10 at the latest.
Virgil, I was thinking about you as I sat in the Children's ER. We were there from 0430 to 9:30 pm. I kept thinking "Now I know Virgil could get us out of here quicker than this!" Actually, the ER docs were great. We got to see the evening shift come back on duty, and they were really surprised we were still there and not on a floor. I know our case was pretty complicated. Most of the rooms turned over at least 2 or 3 times while we were waiting. They sure do see a lot of people there.
And as far as packing, my DH always takes way more than I do! Although I do have to remember the little things for him. I get that "honey did you bring me my ....... " a lot! I usually pack by the outfit. For the kids, I load them up in gallon zip locks (shorts, shirt, socks, undies) so they just grab a bag. Last trip, I brought tennies (wore them on the plane), tevas, dressy sandals, and one pair of casual sandals. This trip, I'm thinking of leaving the tennies behind. I think I can walk the deck in my tevas! If it wasn't for formal night, I could ditch the dressy sandals too! Less is better, at least for me!
Have a great day!
