Lynda..... Tell Cash thank you for me, but sadly, my old teeth can't have any chew bones. Too many crowns and fillings!
And besides, don't tempt me like that....I might just take you up on it. Cash's face may not fit in a snorkle mask, but mine does!!!

My mom is coming in 2 weeks, and of course, I'm taking her to Vegas. (Give me strength) Then Jay and I are going at the end of April for the slot tournament....and I'm still trying to figure out how to fit one more visit in to May...I have one more free room offer, but with DS's baseball, and end of school stuff, I don't think I'll get there. So, cruising in May is out of the question, too

I thought about the Romance package, but DH wasn't impressed with Palo (We had a cranky waitress) and he doesn't want a massage...and since I can't get re-married, I'll just sit alone on my verandah and sulk. (Can someone give me some cheese for my whine, and play a little violin music?) Too bad Cash doesn't have a brother coming along....we could double-date!

Mary, Gail is one of the MOST wonderful people! She & her sister offered to help with wedding stuff when the in-laws were being stinky....total strangers, but nicer than family! That's the DIS for ya. They have gotten together with some other cruisers that I still talk to all the time...jeeperslady and cap10squid.
But no one wants to come to AZ to visit me and my slimy friends!!??

My parents are having a great time in Vegas. They went to Laughlin first for the free rooms now in Vegas for the free rooms and then to our time share for 15 days, then they go to a slot tournament with more free rooms.

Lynda, thanks for the pep talk about the glazed-pampering look and the bunions. I will keep that in mind. I'm sure DD will be occupied with the kid's lab and won't even miss us for dinner. But I was thinking we would go early and then go to dinner with her, I can get a MM ice cream bar . We have yet to go to Palo, and we have been on 4 cruises. I missed high tea last time since I was in bed, but my mom told me how good it was and all I missed. In fact, that was the day of the seafood buffet and I had bread and jello - yum yum!!!

I just "googled" for the answer.

The "Magic" resides at Cruise Terminal # 8.

When I was there last week, all I noticed was cruise terminals "A" and "B"

But it seems like your weekends are more here than there. We haven't been to Vegas in 6 years.


If I remember right, the Magic/Wonder leave from the 'A' side of the terminals. I believe the 'A' and 'B' stand for which side of the channel the actual terminals are on. I never even noticed that the DCL terminal had a number.

Ok, clarification...Snakes (if that's what y'all have been referring to) are no more slimy than an alligator bag, or shoes. I used to raise 'em when I was in high school...snakes, that is, not shoes or bags.....although being able to raise the latter these days would be an economic windfall....
I am SO disappointed that all that condo and stateroom square footage will go to waste on a future double massage recipient and her hairy swim fanatic companion....
We will be thinking of you, though....whine on...

Good evening, all. And welcome to Charlotte & gang! Did you read about the wine party yet? Are you in?

Alias was OK last night. Sydney wore a really bad wig, and we're having trouble getting used to the bangs. Oh, the trauma! But I just knew that Lauren's Mom was going to be evil too. So I was feeling all smug.

Stacey, you must be close to Vegas. We have to go there in July with DD's dance team, I am NOT looking forward to it. Especially since I will probably be chaperoning several teenage girls.

Leilani, I do have a little favor to ask, I'll PM you about it.

We loved Palo, both for dinner and brunch. Kind of hoping to get two dinners on this cruise, maybe if we book a table for four and share reservations with someone? I've heard that this works. Each couple gets one reservation for four, so we all get to eat there two nights. Just hope we like each other after the first night!

Hi everyone!

Diana - don't know about the wine party - sounds great, though. Do tell all!

Gail - thanks for putting us on the brunch list.

The big debate right now is whether we do WDW before the cruise or after. Thought I read somewhere that the special WDW Christmas activities pretty much end right at Christmas, so that would be a vote in favor of before.
DH and I celebrate 11 yrs. on 1/1/05, so sticking around for the anniversary would also be fun. Would love to hear anyone's ideas for favorite hotels, what not to miss, etc. We were last there in 02/01 - stayed at the Yacht Club....loved it, but the trek to the monorail got to be long with a then 4 yr.-old DS.

I'm still reading the posts from the beginning.......whew! Those of you who've been "in" since those early posts must be thrilled that the months are starting to zoom by!
