Lisa - I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. No wonder you can't sleep and are posting at 3 am. I'm happy to hear that you were able to get in to the Ronald McDonald House so that you can be near her. Lots of prayers and pixie dust heading your way that you will both be home soon!

Mary & Mark- we will try to make it to the meet. I have to meet the hay guy at 11 today if he is on time we should make it if he is late, ?????? It will be soooo wonderful when we have our own hay and don't have to buy it any more!

Garry finally go on the road yesterday afternoon. He has a really sore bottom, cuz.... he keeps kicking himself in it. We both are feeling bad that we didn't take the horse to MSU (Michigan State) earlier.

Sorry I missed chat last night I crashed early.

Today should be a very nice day I might get used to this, but wait it is Michigan after all it won't last for long. I better get going so I can enjoy this weather.

We have also had some medical issues on the homefront this week with DD but today seems to be a better day.
Diana, Sorry I have not e mailed back it has been a very long week. I will as soon as I get a chance.

The Mason's are here working in our backyard today. we are getting our stoop and outline for patio. Yeah. Harmony will get to use her backyard very soon.

First batch of relatives (Wisconsin) headed back home just now.
The others stay till Monday.
I just got done removing flowers from the sprays and arranging them in vases. Am printing out pictures that I took also.
Thanks, Virgil...glad you got back ok also.

Lisa....lots and lots of prayers and Pixie Dust for your daughter. I held my breath every time one of my kids got shots or were on medication. I can't imagine how you must feel, but our thoughts are with you! Please take care of yourself, too.

The maps will help a lot in knowing where we are, how far it is from one place to another, etc. Before we went to Jamaica, the maps I looked at made it seem very close to go from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios to visit the Falls....HA...all day trip! We didn't get to do anything else. So, thank you...very much!

Stacey, I forgot to tell you that my package from Las Vegas finally arrived yesterday. I was very happy with my purchase.
A bit of advice for you - DON'T move if you don't have to or else have someone else pack it up for you!!! Unless your next move it to FL like mine will be sometime down the long road.


Stayed a gloomy day all day long. Never did make it up to 73 like they said. Tomorrow starts back down into the 50's for the high the rest of the week.

Greetings everyone! Checking in from Novi, MI. Had a great time at the DIS meet. Got to meet some nice new DIS'ers and got to catch up wth some old friends from the DVC Member Cruise!

Vicki - guess you couldn't make it. it would have been great to see you. We left the meet about 5 pm and have been chilling out since. We drive home tomorrow.

Hi everyone ....we are back from 2 glorious weeks in Florida.

It took forever to get caught up on this thread.

To tell you all the truth, I pretty much skimmed over all the posts, as there was about 50 some odd pages to read.
My apologies if I missed anything.

The weather was beautiful in Florida as compared to about 40 degrees here today. It was good to hear, we missed some bad weather while we were gone.

Spent a ton of money......hope to recover before its time to pay for the cruise.
The kids got spoiled ( the main objective in life, is for the kids to have fun, isn't it? )

We drove to Cocoa Beach for an afternoon of fun one day. The kids loved the surf.
Then went to look for "Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort" in Port Canaveral ( We are staying there prior to sailing )
To our surprise, it was located right at Cruise Terminal "B"

It looked absolutely amazing ( without going inside )
Judging by the exterior of the resort, we are very pleased at this point in time.
Plus, we can't be any closer to the ship.

Does anyone know from which Cruise Terminal the "Magic" departs from?

jilljill....the ONLY reason I would ever move again is if it were to Florida!!!! Some friends just moved there, so now our snorkel trips together will be so much easier for them. I am very jealous. I would be in BIG trouble if I were that close to WDW and the ships. Glad your package got there. Must be an advantage to live closer. I didn't open mine. I also have a package of pins from Mouseshoppe and clothes that I ordered for Jordan that I haven't opened. No time. Tomorrow, hopefully. The Chicago group is going to a Cubs spring training game. But then, the girls (Megan, Jordan & I ) are going to Guys & Dolls in the afternoon, too, so it may all have to wait. Totally unheard of for me to wait that long to open fun stuff!! Love those pins! I guess I could be doing it now, but I'd rather be here.

Lisa, I hope things are looking better today. How is your DD?

Mary - Sorry we didn't make it the hay didn't show up until afternoon and the kids were riding. DD is going to ride in a litlte show this morning. Trainer has a horse she wants us to buy for DD, I think this show is to try to convince us they are good together. It would have been great to see you & Mark again.

GarRy is in the warm sunshine of Fla. He is visiting MM today, at least for a little bit. I am really looking forward to next month when I can go to.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday, I better got moving so I make it to the show before Vanessa rides.

Going into work this afternoon. Should be busy since the weather is rather gloomy out today. I don't like the Sunday mall crowds
