Bet ya'll can't guess what my dog's name is! :p When the humane society found him he was only 6-8 months old, had a huge leather collar on with 3 foot of heavy chain and a pad-lock the size of a fist. They couldn't figure out how he busted loose! Today he's been known to yank me clean out of my shoes when we're on our walk and my wife has been spotted "lawn skiing" when she tried walking him.

Any guesses?

Awwwwwwwwwww ya guessed it!

Mostly it's Hercules (or Herc). Sometimes his name is 'Dammit', 'Stoopid' or 'OhmyGAWD'. :)

For those of you who are waiting for Southwest to open up the rest of December, I was just on their web page and reservations are now open for all of December.

Ken

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Of course I want 7777!!! Other than just three 7's...can you imagine any other perfect number for me??

I'll be watching pirate: princess:

Molly doesn't get called Stupid....but we had an Aussie pup that was HUGE by the time he turned one.....and he had those same names. Totally untrainable, and he was vicious to Molly. Hopefully he's running free on a farm somewhere being the Alpha male.
Jordan and I saw a yellow lab puppy at the mall last night with her "Training" jacket on. Too cute.

You should be :scared1: :scared: gaRry! I just want to remind you to bring your wallet and all the credit cards...we've got some shopping to do!! ;)

Sorry I zonked out and forgot the "Good Morning"...Thank you, Mary for your bright awakening!

Outta here for now! Have a great day,
Stacey

gaRry, I'm not sure if you are ready for the 'meeting' of Stacey. She's way too excited about this trip :hyper: . I would hate to be her daughter on the plane with her, she will keep asking "Are we there yet?!?"

It will be paybacks for all the years of having to listen to Megan ask "Are we there yet?" HA!
She'll probably slip sleeping pills into my soda!

And she's really going to croak when I tell the pilot to hurry up! Maybe they'll let me fly it.....I KNOW I can "drive" faster than they can!

Stacey, step away from the cockpit door. You don't want the Air Marshalls jumping you, do you? It wouldn't be that fun, honest.

Thanks to Ken, we now have our flights! And after all my posts about how awful WDW is during the Holidays, we are staying until the 31st. Yep, flying home NYE. Could not get a reasonably priced flight home on the 28th, so what the heck. Anyway, we're on the waiting list for a studio at OKW or BCV. Guess I should call back and say we will take one ANYWHERE. It could be a surprise! So who else is staying? What's happening? I guess I need to see if CP is still going on, anyone doing that? We can't be by ourselves in WDW after 10 days with you guys!

Hercules sounds like the kind of dog that makes me nervous. Is he a nice puppy, aside from being massive?

Actually he's one of the sweetest (and too smart for his own good!) dogs I've ever had. We have a 10lb Calico/tabby cat that he plays with all the time and has never hurt her. Usually when he gets called 'other' names it's all in fun (usually). ;)

Leslie, we haven't been to a pin trading event in a year, what's the best one to go to now? We will be there 8-7 through 8-15. As Stacey said, we will be busy the first Saturday and Sunday nights, and I think we have plans for Monday and Wednesday night as well. Any good pin trading nights left? I figure you would know!

Good afternoon everyone! :wizard:
Sorry Diana.. just away from the computer for a while.. we're trying to get "organized" in this room and moved everything around.
I will be at WDW from late 8/8 until 8/22. No special pin events going on until the "Big one" in September.. but regular Pin Trading nights are
Wed afternoons at POFQ 3-6pm... okay but not well attended the 2 times I was there.
Thursday Nights at All Star Sports food court. 7-10pm
Always well attended and in MHO the best one... Plenty of seating, well lighted and usually a good mostly shark free group.
Friday night at Contemporary Grand Concourse. 7-10pm
Not my favorite. Lighting is poor, not enough tables and usually too crowded.... and always the same crowd... sharks included.
All three places have Kids Trading Zones.

There is always trading going on at DTD too. DPT has tables set up outside, but in the evening the lighting is poor... bring a flashlight! It's also HOT. I swear the temp in and around DPT is 20 degrees hotter than anywhere else...LOL And you definately have to watch out for the sharks there. Esp if there is a new LE pin release or a "surprise" pin release.
Now of course these are just my opinions.

okay everyone with dogs, cats etc. I am still searching for the perfect "hotel" for my 4 big babies. Our August WDW visit will also include visits to local pet resorts...LOL We want to board them there so we can be closer to getting them once we are off the ship.

Hi all. I had a very short notice trip to Philadelphia. Like the phone rang at 9 am with a "we have a problem Houston", and I was driving up by 10:30 (that included a stop back home to pack!) The rental car place gave me an Eclipse convertible (better known as a Spider). Of course it was POURING rain yesterday, so I didn't think too much about it. I went into the meeting this morning then left Philly about 10 to drive back. Sun was shining, it was mid-80s. You betcha that top was down! I was rocking all the way down I-95! A couple of teen aged girls at KFC were saying how cool the car was. I had to admit it was really a rental, but it was fun!

Herc, you were the guy in Texas! I knew there was somebody there, but couldn't remember who. You missed my trip there in June. I'm sure I'll be back yet again before the trip, so I'll let you know if and when. Good luck finding arrangements for the puppy. I'll ask some of my Bell buddies who have dogs who they use.

Vicki, glad to hear GaRry and DS went back to class. It's very very rare for people to come back, but most who do continue on through the black belt. Taking that step back in is the hardest thing!

Well, have to sign off now. Time to head back out and get DS for Boy Scouts. Bye all!

Leslie, the one at All Stars sounds good, we've been to that one before. Are you going? Maybe we can "hang" with you and feel like pros. No sharks!

Leslie.....I figured out DTD...but what's DPT? I always thought that was a shot my kids got.

Popping in just to say hi....have more work to do but I'll be back later.

Stacey

Hi Stacey - nice to see you online

I think DPT is Disney Pin Trading - the large building they have dedicated to pins at Downtown Disney. Could be wrong though.

Leslie---

Jessie looks just like our Sebastian! How old is Jessie? Sebastian is about 11 years old, I think. We got him from Golden Retriever Rescue when he was about 18 months old. I love retrievers, they are just the most loving dogs.

Anyway, the picture made me think of Seb. Guess I better get home from work so he can come in and lay around all night!!!!

Ohhh....wow...I didn't know they had an entire building for pins. We haven't ever gone to DTD. I'll have lots of new experiences next week!

Off to take Jordan to her last dance class of the summer...which seems silly, since school and dance start back up again in just over 2 weeks.
We should be hearing from Jared's soccer coach soon, too.
Let the running begin again!!!

Back after dance & dinner!

Stace

Its about time I check in again..........it has been a long time.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Quick question to all.........

Who was it, that was organizing some SCUBA dives?
Just curious if there was some tentative plans on dive sites.

Count me in for 1 maybe 2 days. Much appreciated for any info.

It would be nice to go as a group from the boat versus going on my own.

Hi all.
The sun finally came out today!!:sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
Hope we see it again tomorrow. Sure wish I was heading to Florida too.
You guys have a wonderful time.

Diana, we are staying 3 nights after cruise at the Poly, so you won't be there alone!!

DH is taking tomorrow off for a Dentist appt and after that I think we are going car shopping. He is going to finally break down and get something new. His current car is almost 13 yrs old! We bought it right after DD was born and she will be 13 in Oct. It's had a good life, but really ready to retire.

Happy Friday to everyone!!

GaRry.................It has been so long since I've posted.
Not sure if I have missed the Polo shirt deadline.
