Diana, your Ginny dolls are adorable. Our good friends own the Vogue Doll Co.

Linda....I get to drive the ship!!!!! That was funny.

And Ken, I'm dying laughing at the Mad Dog thing. :p

The softball team that Jay and I play on is almost all made up of Mormon families. We have a ball (no pun intended) together. I'm always teasing the coach, because he steals my Pepsi. He explained the coffee, tea, alcohol stuff to me. I would much rather play with them than the other teams we come across. We make it a giant family picnic....our Friday night out. And at least we're all in it for fun. Some of those other teams are so cut-throat!

And again, if anyone is going to "drive" the ship, it's me!!!

Welcome Back Tina! I have to pick DD up at 11:30 at Marshall High School. If you don't still have my cell number, pm me please. She already said Rainforest Cafe is her choice for lunch. Good think I joined the Safari Club last time. FYI (for everyone!) for $15 you get: 10% off the bill every time, a $10 gift certificate for joining, and front of the line before non club members. It says you have to use it at least once a year, but there's no mention of paying the fee yearly, it seems like a one time fee. I've heard others say that they get freebies in the mail around their birthdays and anniversaries too. So it might be worth it to join for some of you.

Any my DD likes Orlando Bloom much more than Johnny Depp. I did tell her that Johnny is just about my age, and she about died!!!

Ooh, Jilljill. Do they have a museum? Their very early dolls were named "Just Me". They were adorable and I've always wanted one. I think Vogue dolls has changed hands a few times since 1950.

Many of my friends in High School were Mormon (Las Vegas). Very conservative environment for high school, with all the good Mormon kids going there. Hmmm, maybe we should find a high school like that for DD to go to.

Another oldie but goodie is Brad Pitt. At least he's old enough to NOT be my son. My DD just doesn't "get" the Brad Pitt thing. I told her when she's old enough, she can watch "Thelma and Louise", then she will get it!

I've been seriously thinking private school for Jordan. Uniforms and all girls. Yep!
Otherwise, the next thing you know, she'll end up in a bikini contest in Cabo!!! ;)

Back to packing. Can you tell I'm soooo thrilled??

Orlando Bloom....now THAT'S more like it!!!

Hey, I just read that Del's Wife was banned from the boards, is that true?? How "bad" do you have to be, to be banned?
I'm still here:confused:

No, really? Everyone loved Del'swife posts! I just learned that Nick on the DVC board got banned too. He's the guy who had all the cute smilies for every occasion. Wonder what's up.

Here's something I just read. I doubt this will get you banned, and I think the moderators don't come here often, since we're too prolific and we tire them out! But I'm guilty of this too.

Post by WebMaster Doc:
We've started to get a lot of personal messages in posts on this board. Posts like "I just sent you a PM" or "I just sent you an email" are considered personal messages and are covered in our site guidlelines under #4.

"4. NO PERSONAL MESSAGES: These boards are not for exchanging personal messages with friends. For that, we suggest you use email. These boards require an email address be entered prior to posting. If you have a personal comment for that person, please direct it to them via email. If the use of the boards for personal messages continues, those messages will be deleted. Remember, if the message is not intended for EVERYONE, it does not belong on the boards! "

Please use the PM feature or email, but not the board itself for such messages. This type of message will be allowed on the Rent/Trade Board since it is not a discussion forum, but an opportunity for personal contact.

Thanks!

Stacey - where'd ya see the post about Delswife? Just wondering....

I agree with the deep breath all......

Sometimes it's very difficult to convey the meanings of questions here - so we all need to be careful.... In person communications are so much better - but we still have to wait awhile until we all get together for that....

No way Stacey - I'm the one with the experience. So what if the biggest thing I drove in the Coast Guard was 95 feet. That's not much smaller then the Magic.

Actually, the Magic is probably easier to maneuver then that 95 footer. ;)

Lets get a signup sheet going and we will give it to the captain with the "driving appointment time" already setup.

OM - I think you and your kids will love the Wilds... DD used to go there on school trips when we were in Wheeling - It's such a neat place - considering it's in the middle of nowhere.....Let us know what you thought!

Hope that everyone has a great day - Be back tonight again - just have to work 8 hours so it shouldn't be terrible (fixed myself there didn't I?)

Have a great day!

Ken, we'll let you be in charge of that, K? Let us know how it works out for you. LOL, you're funny. Nice to have someone new to play with. Poor Ken, he already thinks I'm stalking him.

Stacey, I think delswife is OK. I searched for her posts, and she's still showing 900 something posts. When you get banned, your post counts go to 0.

Diana- I was talking about the Hershey meet in Sept for the Friday and Sat night hotel. ( thanks Mary for the info)
We are currently staying at the Radisson the Friday night before the cruise. Not sure if we'll keep that or not. Our flight arrives about 5:00. We may just stay at the airport Hyatt and get a ride to the port in the morning. We can't decide. We are staying 3 nights at the Poly after the cruise, so we can't decide the best transportation method for airport, cruise, WDW, airport. We will have lots of luggage. I don't pack light. On our flight back from Texas my bag was 16lbs overweight. You should have seen us trying to repack all the bags so that we wouldn't have to pay the $25 fee. Too much shopping and I know the cruise will be just as bad!

Lisa, what time do you think you will make it to Rainforrest? I will check with DH tonight and see if he's filled up our Sat or not. Gotta love that safari card!!

I come home and there's three pages to catch up on! WOW!

And, another WOW for the Wilds!! That place is INCREDIBLE. Rhinos, giraffes, bison, camels, antelope, and all kinds of weird animals I've never seen before were RIGHT there! Many were literally by the busses right by the road. The pictures I took are just amazing. We had a WONDERFUL time. I forgot I was in Ohio....until I had to drive home (yawn!)

I *highly* suggest anyone remotely close go check it out. It's reciprocal with most zoos, so it's not that expensive either.

Diana

You can stalk all you want as long as you bring a bottle of Gruet Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine along with you! :D

I never thought to ask if they have some sort of museum or not. I will check on that and get back to you. They are in Oakdale, CA now. The company has changed hands a few times. My friends have owned it for several years.

I CALLED IT FIRST!!!!!!!

Just remember, since you guys all stole the fun post numbers, I called it first to drive the ship. The line forms BEHIND ME!!!!!!!!!

LINDA

Oh, and I joined the Rainforest Cafe about 4-5 years ago. Paid one time membership fee. There is no annual fee and they send me birthday discounts and anniversary discounts. Plus a newsletter every now and then. AND I love just walking up, showing my card and being able to eat right then and there for the most part.

Oh, and you can't forget the discount for buying merchandise! My DD's favorite pj's are the leopard ones I got her there as a gift (you know, I was there on a business trip)

Their Oriental Chicken Salad (whatever it is officially called---hm)
is to die for!
