Woo Hoo! Our countdown timers are back and we are another week closer to cruising!

Not much planned for us. Mark still has work to do on the car, and I'll be doing the usual weekend laundry and cleaning. Exciting huh?

Well, DW has been watching this board. That's her job and love since she booked us on this 10 day trip the first day it was available. Since then she has been addicted to the board. She will be signing up for the newsletter once back from vacation.

My job is to start booking scuba trips for DS and myself at all the ports. DS is 14 and an advanced diver.

Is anyone coordinating any scuba diving or made any private plans they would like to share?

scuba diver - welcome to the thread. Dancind's DH is a scuba diver as is her DD (dear daughter). She is in Vegas right now, but I'm sure when she gets back she'll be happy to get you in touch with him.

Tell your wife to drop me a line when she's ready for the newsletter and I'll give her the password.


BTW - just did a search on you (not stalking just seeing how new you are). Do you remember posting to a thread over a year ago about Sylvester and wanting the couple on that cruise to say Hi for you? That was my DH and I! Small world huh?

Good afternoon everybody. I'm basically doing the same as Mary. Laundry, etc.
Cringing at the thought of packing again next week. Trying to figure out why I put the suitcase away.
I'm taking the kids to visit my family in Omaha next Friday, for a week. Hoping it's cooler. Mom says it's still raining. I want to stand outside in the rain.
I'm having a hard time remembering what rain is.

Morning all!

Welcome scuba diver and wife. We're a great bunch of people. Since your DW has been lurking and hasn't cancelled the ressie yet, you must be fun people too!

Tina, when you get back, give me a holler. I will be back up your way again next Saturday to pick DD up from the camp bus stop.

I'm on my way out now to take her up to DC to meet the camp bus. Better a 2 hour drive one way than a 5 hour drive! We had a minor battle about her hair. I had put in a bunch of bahama braids so that she didn't have to worry about brushing it and keeping it out of her face in camp (both things she has minor problems with). Well, the braids were bothering her last night, so she insisted on taking them out! I just told her that she HAS to keep her hair clean and brushed for the whole week. If it's a wreck when she comes home, she WILL be getting braids for Wyld Life camp in August!

Mary, sorry I missed you in chat Friday. We went to the college's concert, then the kids (Kaylie had a friend over) wanted ice cream, so I didn't log in til about 9:45.

Well, that's about all from here. I'm off to DC! Lisa

Welcome Scuba Diver and family. Our DS is 14 (will be 15 on cruise) He hopes to have completed his certification for diving prior to the cruise.

Pam welcome back to this crazy group - looking forward to seeing you post more.

congrats Stacey on your win. Dinner's on you first sea night??

Hay pick up today, and I wondered why GaRry agreed to work overtime.

Better get going I skipped the laundry yesterday, so I must get busy this am I have to be out to get the hay at 1pm. Horses to feed before that and kids too.

My DS will be glad to share diving stories (sharks, wrecks, springs, walls, currents, ....) that will guarantee your DS will be certified by the cruise date.
