One of our customers is a vet, maybe I'll have him stop by and do it!!!

I've only been to WDW once since they added all that, and we were too exhausted after running all over the parks!

So GaRy & Vicki, are you coming to the Adventurer's Club? Last time we went, DH got to wear a fez all evening. It looked pretty cute on him.

Stacey, when I read your post last night, I almost went and said "hey, let's go for ice cream!" That sounded so good! Of course, that may be because I've been back to lo-carbing for a week now. Managed to gain, not lose. How does that work? Anyway, Ben & Jerry's does have lo-carb ice cream. It's just not nearly as good as my favorite chocolate/coconut/almond flavor!

We *may* become parents again! (do I have you all on the edge of your seats?) Here's the two emails we received today---keep in mind we are 2nd on the waiting list for females and the breeder wants to keep a female if it is "show quality."

Email #1 (from around 7:30 am)
Amy had her puppies this morning starting at 3:30am. The first one was born dead, probably the reason for all the false labor she was having starting Thursday night. The other four puppies are fine and very vigorous. They have had their first meal and have finally quieted down and are taking a nap. She has two boys and two girls. Mother and kids are doing great. We'll make our first trip to the vet later today to get Amy a shot of oxytocin to make sure she is cleaned out.

Email #2 (from around 10am)
Well the vet wanted to see us early this morning before he started surgery so I packed up the puppies and Amy and headed off to the vet at 7:30a. When he checked her he thought her uterus was too large to not have any puppies so he x-rayed her. There were still 2 puppies in her uterus (unknown if they were viable), so he gave her a shot of oxytocin and sent us on our way. It was quite interesting to have Amy pop out a puppy on the floor of my car between the driver and passenger seat while we were on our way home. I pulled over and luckily had 2 rolls of paper towels in the car. While I was cleaning the first one, she delivered the second, both girls. They were slow to get their breath, but are doing just fine.
So new count is 2 boys, 4 girls.

Ok, now that's looking promising. Although I'm not going to "count my puppies until they are weaned" or something like that. Although it causes me to stress a bit when I think "what will I do with the dog while I cruise??"

Yea Ohiominnie!!! What kind of puppies? I know you said once before, but I don't remember...sorry.
You need someone like me in your life. I am babysitting the "grandpuppy" this week, and am always taking care of my friend's pets. And I'm free! (Sorry, I won't be available at Christmas)
Can we put a vest on the puppy and have her walk next to Cash, as a "dog in training"????

Hmmmmm depends...... Mostly they came that way - usually from the nursing homes.....

Hi all....crazy day at the office!!

Stacey-my dd says there is a box at home for me that came in the mail!!!!! Must be those sandals. I am working late. Can't wait to go home and give them a try!

It's been kinda quiet around here. Weather must be nice or else everyone has gotten blown away in the tornadoes (sure hope not!)

How is everyone else doing? It has been quiet. Must be because jilljill is gone.
When is she coming back....or IS she?? HI Barb!!!

DS has his one last practice game before the big tourney starts tomorrow. I'm thinking I may let DH take him tonight. I'm a little baseballed-out.

Need to be doing some birthday wrapping anyway. Next week for Jared's birthday we're going to the D-Backs. That will be fun.

I'm starting to get really excited about the mini-meet in Las Vegas. LOOK OUT LAS VEGAS.......HERE WE COME!!!!!!!
Only 3 weeks....how am I going to contain myself until then????

Guess what...even with the "puppy" talk , I almost forgot!
I'm going to be a Great-Auntie again!!!!! My niece, Lindsey is expecting baby #2. My ever so gorgeous great-niece Alex is almost four. Have to wait until February for THAT! I'm going to be a basket case! (Not to mention broke....I'm the official supplier of the car seats, strollers, high chairs, and all the other stuff they can't afford...but I love it!)

Stacey-you are giving them way tooooooooooooo much credit. My DH's idea of exercise is using the remote control. He has the DD get him the stuff he needs from the fridge!
