Mary, you spelled DH's name wrong in the newsletter, but that's ok.

:jumping1: The new computer arrived!!!!! :jumping1:
I'm very excited ::yes:: . Now it just needs to get hooked up and the :badpc: can go away.

Barb - well I could say it was all a test to see if you were really reading it and that you passed! ::yes::

I see my mistake now and it should be fixed. Sorry about that.

PS - congrats on the new computer!:

Hi guys......94 degrees outside. Yuck.

What a day, I totally forgot that I had end of the month books to do. I did get to call my brother, though, and tell him the "Daisy" story.
Speaking of which...did we lose all our new smilies?

Anybody out there a small business owner? I have an employee problem that I'd like to ask someone about. PM me.
I'm a little down in the dumps right now. I hate coming home in such a great mood, then having it get ruined so quickly.

Diana....I have a funny feeling that this suite is a once in a lifetime offer! I have a free regular room offer from New York New York that I will probably use for July. (Everybody say "Aaaww")

Anywho....going to go try to re-adjust my attitude. Back later. I feel like Eeyore.

Stacey

Welcome back Gary! I'm glad you're feeling better.

Congratulations Stacey and welcome back to you too! Sounds like you had a great time!

Paul

Hi everyone.

Mary, I tried e mailing you several times but it will not go through. We would love to have the pins.

This is so nice of you to do. Thank You!!!!! I hope your e mail is up and running soon. As soon as it does I will be e mailing you.

Barb, congrat on your new computer. I am so looking forward to getting mine. What type did you get. My notebook from Dell should be delivered around 5/11.

Early to bed tonight. Have a great night everyone. Fondly, Gail:earsgirl:

Good night, Gail!

I ate some cookies, feeling a little better. Wait till the guilt sets in (from the weight gain) :(

Mary, I think I already e-mailed before about the pins....will do it again anyway.

Hi Paul....yep, it was a real blast!
I did my good deed for the day, too. I gave one of my gifts away to a lady who lost hers. She left it in the ballroom, and when she went back, it was gone. They were really nice teapots, big & different. But I have so many knickknacks and all....and I felt bad for her.

I found the business services room at the Mirage. They have computers you can use, but you have to stand up the whole time. I guess if you were going to be quick it would be okay. They charge a one-time use fee. I still need to look at getting a lap top. I wouldn't take it for week-end trips, but I would for longer trips. Unfortunately, a lot of places we go wouldn't have connections.

Things to do...back later tonight.

By the way.....NO, Barb....I don't want to be called Daisy! :p

Stacey:daisy:

Forgot....I DID get good news today....our Disneyland documents arrived today! They have a couple of new features, free 5x7 picture...more discount coupons, stuff like that.

Gail & Stacey - got your e-mails and will put you down for buttons. I know I have some others e-mails and will be making up a list. Right now we are in button making mode for Member Homecoming - then we'll work on the cruise buttons.

I just read this AP story dated 5/3 about the CA cruises for summer '05.

By GARY GENTILE, AP Business Writer

LOS ANGELES - The Walt Disney Co. will dock one of its two cruise ships in California for 12 weeks next year as part of the celebration for the 50th anniversary of its Disneyland theme park, the company said.

The decision to offer 12 seven-night cruises beginning next May also will test the waters for a possible future expansion of the cruise line, which has been extremely successful since it began operating out of Florida in 1998. No decision to permanently add a West Coast port has been reached, the company said Sunday.

"It is a great opportunity to bring the magic of the Disney Cruise line to a whole new audience on the West Coast," Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, told The Associated Press on Sunday.

Disney unveils its plans Wednesday for marking Disneyland's 50th anniversary at each of its 10 worldwide theme parks. Company co-founder Walt Disney opened the park July 17, 1955.

The "Disney Magic" will travel from its home port through the Panama Canal next year and offer cruises leaving from the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro and docking in three Mexican ports: Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.

The announcement comes as Disney unveils a major new addition to its struggling California Adventure theme park, which opened three years ago in the midst of an economic recession.

Executives hope the opening of the "Twilight Zone Tower of Terror," this week will finally bring in the crowds Disney originally expected.

Riders strapped into seats on an elevator free fall 13 stories down the shaft of an abandoned hotel. The ride is already one of the most popular at Disney-MGM Studios park in Florida.

:wave2: Thanks Mary, for the pins.

jilljill, that's the same article that Grumbo posted...I guess it must be official! Waiting, waiting.........:hyper:

Just because I'm back doesn't mean that I can sit here and talk to myself all night. Doggone WVMD needs to quit traveling, too.....and get back on the night shift!
I am not the Fluff Queen..........

So, other than those of you who want to do the repositioning cruise, is there NO ONE who wants to come to California and do the Mexican Riviera? I've been going all the way to Florida!
Truly, can't say as I blame you....if Florida were closer, I wouldn't come all the way out here.

Time for bed, I guess..........

TERRIFIC TUESDAY MORNING TO ALL OF OUR EASTS, WESTS, AND IN BETWEENS! :sunny: :sunny:

Stacey

:flower1: Good Morning Everyone! :flower1:

How is everyone this bright, beautiful morning!

I got up early to try the new DVC Member site, but there appear to the a few bugs and it isn't working. Will try later.

Off to read the rest of the boards and then head out to work.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Morning all! Mary, we'd love buttons. Tim, Lisa Kaylie and Casey. Mom and Dad are Kenny and Diane. I'll also put together some stuff on at-sea days and email you in the next couple of weeks.

Stacey, sending you pixie dust on the employee thing. Working for the US Govt, I don't have any small business experience. I hope it works out!

That's about all that's going on here, except it's REALLY COLD! Sunny, but 45 degrees this morning! Oh well, it's supposed to warm up for the weekend.

Diana, :bday:

Happy Birthday

:cake: :cake: :cake:

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Diana!!! And welcome back Karyn, we missed you!

Oh, and I remembered what I was going to say this morning (had a brain hiccup!) I stopped by two Disney Stores in the last couple of weeks, and they had some very cute mickey and minnie tropical prints, for a halfway reasonable price (I think the dresses were $23, and they were 30% off). I've already got a matching dress/capri set for DD and myself, but I definitely looked at them for tropical night. It's mostly a blue background with tan accents. They had sundresses and shirts.
