Sounds good but keep in mind that I was reminded again tonight by the hall that 12 and under get kids rate. We are supposed to collect adult rate for anyone older. I hope that isn't a problem.

I also think I mentioned it somewhere else here in the thread. At least I hope I did. Shrug???

I am going to sign the contracts tomorrow. As of right now I am fairly confident that we will get our minimum headcount.

I've never looked at the Meet Boards. I mostly visit the DVC Boards and thought it would be so cool to hook up with other Dis Fans. I live in Howell, Monmouth County. Doubt my kids (teenagers) would come with me but I know a few other Dis fans that I may be able to convince to come. What a wonderful idea. I'd be intimidated to come alone but would hate to miss it.

Please don't be too intimadated to come! It's funny how fast you can bond with people you have never met before when you have something in common. I've been to a couple of other DIS meets before -- one with DH and two dd's at Alex's place and one at a NY area mall with just one then much younger child in tow. I had a blast both times. I was a little nervous approaching a big group of DISers by myself but I'm glad I did.

Come on...come all. Remember, we aren't really all strangers!! We know each other to an extent from the DIS. Besides, it's not like we won't have anything to talk about eh?

It's now official! I signed the contracts yesterday so we are in! Keep those checks and head counts coming! Remember, I had to promise at least 25 people but I told her that number could go as high as 40 total. The more the merrier!

Hrmmm...I will get in touch with the hall tonight and verify dress code but I could swear that she said we could wear anything we want.

I want us all to be comfortable of course. It's not what I would consider a black tie affair.

My family and I are interested in attending but I need to double check the baseball/softball schedule if I conform is there any way to get my $$ back?
