Buddy already tried, despite us explaining that they are CRABS and not escargot....silly doggie!!

He actually got one in his mouth, I've never heard Kelsey scream quite so loud before... *sigh*

They're really easy to care for, just fresh water every day and a tiny bit of fruit or hot dog with their crabbie food...I might hire DD's best friend for the job! *grin*

OK. I've finally caught up on the posts. On wait, it just beeped again.

On the at sea days, does anyone know if they'll let us fly kites from the rear deck? I bet it would be lots of fun.

Also, is anyone planning to bring two way radios to keep in touch with kids / spouse?

I can't imagine packing a kite, Cap! But that would be cool!! They should have special Mickey ones on board, they'd make a killing!!

We had 2 way radios for the last trip to Disney - gave one to my brother and his family and one to us, made it really easy to seperate and meet up. Then DD took one into the treehouse here at home...and left it there...and the rain did it in. so we have one. =/

We won't be taking it along...I plan on playing hide and seek from the kids anyhow! *wink*

Cap - We're bring a couple of two-way. The kite idea sounds like fun. If no one cares, I'll email Disney and ask the question.

I think the kite question has been asked on the DCL boards. I don't you'd be allowed to fly kites.

We brought two-ways last year - never used them. Our best form of communication was via post-it notes!

Quit blaming me, Dean, about the bringing Matt thing! You can still do the romance package and tell him when to get lost!

Ya know, Dean - Karyn's got ya there...isn't Matt like EIGHTEEN? I'm telling my 10 and 11 yr old to get lost, I'm sure Matt will find SOMETHING to do! And you probably won't get the "EEEWW are you going to KISS!!" that we get!! *snicker*

I think I'll bring our magnetic write on/wipe off for quick messages, I figured I'd put it on the back of the door and that way if the kids go somewhere they can tell us without worrying. Will that work on the inside?

we need to find more people with boys Tyler, Peter and John's ages!! We already have our share of tween/teen girls, Kelsey is going to be in her element without a doubt...but she's already our social one, it's Tyler I hope to find more friends for.
