April 5-16 for some of the public schools in Western New York. This is the last "big Easter break" in 2005 the break will be split one week at Easter and 1 week in February (surrounding President's day)

I believe most northeast texas schools will have their spring break March 15-19. I could be wrong but most that I've talked to are.

Omaha, NE, Millard School District, March 12-19 (that's right, we're off the Fri before too). Leaving for DW March 12!

My daughter's school in Hoboken NJ has the week of 4/26 off.

MY SIL is in Abilene, TX and there's is the week of 3/6

Public schools in Toronto (and most of the rest of Ontario) will be off March 15th through 19th. Most of the private schools get an extra week on either side of that.

Do you know if all the NJ schools are out that week? My husband teaches in a NJ school, so given what you just shared, I wonder.

I am not sure. My daughter's school is a charter school, and their schedule is a bit different. For example, we don't have the NJ week like everyone else has. Also, I think NJ public schools usually have the Easter week off. I am happy that her schedule is a bit different so that we don't have to fight the crowd as much.

We are in private school in GA and have the week of March 29th - April 2nd off. Most the public schools in the metro area are off the week prior to Easter, April 5th -9th. Public schools in our county, Coweta County are off April 12th - 16th.

Just to compare this NJ vacation thing....

My husband teaches in a public high school in Bergen County. He's off that week. He won't miss school for a non-peak vacation.

Lake County, Il is off March 29 - April 2. We leave 3/27 - our twin dd's 10th b-day- celebrating with the mouse!

In southeastern Kentucky it is April 5-9. It just had to be around Easter so we will not be making our annual Disney World trip during Spring Break as we normally do but have decided on June 11-19 instead.
