2004 guidebook..anything new?

I am looking to get The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2004. I have the 2003 version. Is there much difference?

Not really. I have the 2003 version, and got the 2004 version as a gift.

Unless you're a die-hard obsessive fan (such as myself!! ), it's really not necessary.

I think we are talking about the same book . . . the one I was looking at might have been the version "With Kids". But, I was surprised to see River Country was expected to reopen in Spring of this year?! Have I missed a discussion of this?? Does anyone have any additional information? I know there was a lot of hope it would reopen as park for FW exclusively, but I saw it was going to be open as a water park with full access to all guests and ticket buyers. Anyone???

Hi Jodi,

A short list of updates would include more efficient Epcot touring plans, more hotel ratings, a comprehensive list of travel times to WDW from hundreds of off-site hotels, plus new "touring plan" companion pages for each of the parks. Let me know what sections you're most interested in, and I'll see what I can help with.
