I haven't seen the new guidebook, but if it has paper covers, maybe the following idea would help those of you who read your guidebook a lot...
If the inside margins of the pages are wide enough, take your guidebook to a copy center like Kinko's and have the staff there cut off the original binding. The staff can then do one of two things:
- they can install a spiral coil binder on the guidebook (I know Kinko's has spiral coils in several colors)
- they can punch three holes in the pages so you can take then home and insert them in the original 3-ring DVC binder if you have one
I am guessing that this work at the copy center would cost $5-6 at most.
