20 pts. in holding to use by 9/30 ????

I have these in holding from a previous change in reservations. My use year is Oct. so they expire on Friday. Any ideas what I can do with them? could I even rent such a little amount on this short notice. Is there somewhere to donate the points?? Thanks for any info.

I would have bought them from you about 2 weeks ago. THere are some crazy people like me that attempted to rent points with less than 30 days. Try posting it on the DVC rent/ trade board for $6.50/ point - They will be gone in an hour!

The problem is going to be availability - there is probably little or none left for next week. 20 points is only 1 Friday night and 2 weeknights (No Saturday possibilities left after today)..

You can try posting on the rent/trade board, but even someone who already has a reservation may have trouble using them. MS will not just substitute holding account points for an existing reservation if there is a waitlist for the day(s) in question.

If it were me, I'd let them go - JMHO, but I don't think many members would want the hassle of trying to use them even if they cost only $4 or $5 a point.

Did you just cancel the ressie recently? I suspect these points are lost. My friend lost 13 points once that she forgot needed to be used too. Maybe These will have to be forfeited this time, since it is such short notice. Did you call MS yesterday to see if there was availablility?

I called ms on Friday they had availability at OKW on Sun-Tues studio. Im sure this is a slow week, with schools and the F & W at Epcot next month. I thought there might be some place to donate them. Thanks for the info.
