20% Off Merchandise Coupon

Hi All! I just got back 1.5 weeks ago and wanted to mention something that may help you if you are going to be at Disney soon.

I have no idea if this has been mentioned. I haven't noticed it but I haven't searched.

At almost every counter service restaurant we went to we get a 20% off coupon on the bottom of the receipt.

This coupon is good for
Emporium at MK
Mouse Gear at Epcot
Mickeys of Hollywood or Keystone Clothiers at HS
Island mercantile at AK
World of Disney at DTD

This coupon can only be used until Noon. We received it at Sunshine Seasons, Flame Tree BBQ, Cosmic Rays..I think it is at every Counter Service.

I am not sure how long this lasts or how long it has been going on for but just wanted to let you know. 20% is a decent amount to save so I wanted to put this thread out there. Sorry if this is a known fact.

We leave Jan 1st, and I didn't know this so thanks for the info! Can't always follow all the threads on the dis, so sometimes I, and I'm sure others, miss things that others see as common knowledge. Thanks for the heads up. One question. It can only be used by noon? Of the day you get it, or for some days after you receive it? Thanks!

Only good from 9-noon each day, but you can use it on any day, not just the day you get it.
But, be aware...this offer puts a ton of guests into the stores from about 10-12..it's just plain crazy in there at that time. So plan accordingly.

Earlky in January - I'm not brave enough to dig through my wife's purse to find one. We used it at DTD yesterday and saved $85! It was very crowded.

Yes, DTD was insane last Fri AM. Then shortly after noon the crowds parted like the Red Sea.

They've been doing this on and off since the summer months. I got several of them when I was there in August.

You do not have to purchase a full meal to get the coupon. I got them just for buying a bottle of water or a small snack item.

I don't know if they are given for items obtained on the dining plan, but a bottle of water or a cookie is cheap enough to pay for out of pocket if you just want the coupon.

I also wanted to mention that I purchased one of the fleece blankets that was offered for $16.95 with a $40 purchase and they took the 20% off of that too!!

Could you please tell me what kind of blanket they had this year, can you describe it at all? I usually get at least one of these when we go, the last two years they had really cute ones! And using the 20% off coupon would be great! Also glad that you got them even with free dining!

These coupons must be used before noon. If I recall correctly, the ones I got in August were good only on the day I received them. But they were easy to get just by purchasing a small item (such as a bottle of water) in the morning. The coupon is just printed at the bottom of the receipt.

No you can use them any day during your trip, not the day you got it. It does have to be used before noon but you can use them any time. We got them on every coupon- even the ones that just showed how many credits you used. We were on the free dining plan.

Either you were lucky or I was unlucky. When I used my 20% coupon at DTD, in the WoD store, I wasn't allowed to use the discount on the throw. I asked the CM and she said that they weren't allowed to discount the promo items. Didn't make sense to me, but that's what I was told.

If you get to the stores right at park opening, most people are heading to attractions. But, if you wait until 10:30ish, then the stores get really packed.
