$.20 off a gallon at Kroger's?

Okay, I shop at Kroger's a lot and use my card to get the $.10 off a gallon of gas. Last night I'm buying groceries for Easter and the week. My total comes up to about $200. This morning I stop by Kroger's to get gas and it gives me $.20 off a gallon. What happened? I'm NOT complaining, just curious how I can get the $.20 off again. I did use some of the coupons Kroger's send in the mail, but no more than about $4 worth. So I'm a bit confused.

You get .10 per $100 spent. I usually wait until I have .30 saved and gas seems cheaper. You also get .10 for every 2 Rxs filled and gift card purchases as well.

You earn 1 pt for every dollar spent at Kroger. And it depends on what region you are in how you can redeem those points. In my region, I can redeem 100 pts($100) to save .10 per gallon up to 35 gallons and that is the maximum fuel reward I can get. But some regions can redeem up to 1000 pts($1000) to get up to $1.00 off per gallon. Some regions just changed their maximum fuel rewards in the last 2 weeks. It sounds like your region is one of them. If you are in the Houston area, they discontinued the double/triple coupon program and the new fuel rewards program was brought in to replace it.
