2 YO 40 inches

My daughter is actually small for her age but was asked once in a 3 week trip as we entered the Magic Kingdom. I think it had to do with the fact she wore her magic band and always wanted to scan it so they may have been curious why she was scanning, not getting the green light and then we would just walk in through. She said she was 2 and they just said something like have a nice day princess.
I think we got a few looks at FP when my wife and I would scan and get the green light and then my daughter would scan and get blue, but no one said anything.
I would snap a picture of the certificate with your phone just for peace of mind but I would really doubt you would need it.

When my DS was 5 we once had trouble scanning his ticket because he was small and the CM assumed he was under 3.

We have the opposite problem. My almost 8 year is only 40" and she had trouble getting on Soarin last year. The only time we were ever questioned was at Akershus. She turned 3 that trip and argued with us. We have always been told it is the age you are at the beginning of the stay for meals and park entry.

We also have the opposite problem (my 19 month old is currently wearing size 9 month clothes; he's #3 of 4 and they're all small). It's inaccurate to say nobody will ask, since there have obviously been several posts with examples of CMs who did ask about a child's age. DD9 has had many, many CMs question whether she's old enough to ride alone (with several asking both her and me/DH when they apparently didn't believe her). My friend's daughters are almost twice my DD's size (despite one being younger than her), and they were also questioned in restaurants. I agree that it's easy to take a pic of a child's birth cert just in case.

I agree with others that Disney typically does not question a child's age, but there is no harm in bringing the birth certificate if it will put your mind at ease.
