April 09 we are taking a short trip (3 nights, 4 days) to Disney with our extended family. There will be 8 adults and 3 children (ages 11, 6, 4). The adults will be a wide range from 29 (me) to 79. Our budget will be limited.

It's so far ahead but I"m trying to get ideas for 2 TS restaurants that we can all sit down at and enjoy being together. We will do lots of CS meals in between.

We will be visiting:

Day 1- DHS
Day 2- MK
Day 3- Epcot
Day 4- check out (but we could do a character breakfast before leaving)

None of this is set in stone, of course.

Any recommendations for a must-do, magical meal? Thanks in advance!

Beirgarten would be great for a big party!

I second this! Biergarten is so much fun and there is something for everyone on the buffet. Since it is a buffet, it is a set price which is nice when on a budget!

50's Prime Time in DHS would be fun as well especially if you have a server that is really into character.

And we absolutely love Liberty Tree in MK. Again, it is a set price which helps with budgeting. Thanksgiving style dinner served family style and really good character interaction. I know it seems that some hate it and others love it here on the Dis, but we have always had a great time there.

Ok, skip a TS on the Hollywood studios day. None are really worth it. Unless you finish up and go to a resort that night.
Our favorite by far is Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I notice you arn't going to AK, so maybe a dinner there will meet that expectation. It is fantastic. My kid has loved it since he was 6! Not too tough on the wallet either.
Now, you have to do a TS in Epcot, so... Marakesh is great and can usually handle bigger parties and is not AS expensive as others.

other recommended spots by day:
Day one: Turf Club in Saratoga springs (the hidden jewel of Disney dining at this point)
Day Two: take a monorail or boat ride to O'hana, Whispering Canyon Cafe, or Trail's end Buffeteria. Easy to get to and back to the park from.
Last day: if you can do a Character B-fast: Chef Mickey's or O'hana. Best Price is Trail's end but no characters. GREAT b-fast though. We chose Donald's Bfast in Animal Kingdom because it has ALL the major Characters in 1 place. and u can ride the Safari after for a special outing. (of course u would have to use a day in the park for that one, so it's probably out)
Those are just my suggestions.

Thanks guys!

I haven't tried Biergarten yet, but I have heard it's lots of fun!

We were definitely thinking Chef Mickeys for our farewell breakfast.

I also love the idea of LTT dinner...especially if we don't do Chef Mickeys.

thanks! If anyone else has additional suggestions, feel free to post them!
