2 Splash Mountains in 1 Day. Will we do it?

Prince and I are AP holders and have been inspirired by lurkyloo's Haunted Mansion excursion and have now created our own mission. And I have so gracefully decided to document it!



With that said:

THE MISSION
To ride BOTH DL's and WDW's Splash Mountain on the SAME DAY


BONUS
In honor of my husband, I will also attempt to ride both Space Mountains as well. (It's his favorite ride!!)



Our trip is in Aug so stay tunned for our prep as well as the event itself!!!

The flight is booked and I think we can do it!

Does anyone know when Spalsh Mtn will be up again at DL??? I know it will be before summer and all but I love this ride and its been closed forever

Just found out MK has EMH hours that day!

Too bad they're in the evning so it will not help my mission

BUT!


Flights are booked conviently during the afternoon so we are set up well to start!

I need to configure an efficient way to book from the airport to DL so that is my next step. I am open to ay suggestions.

I really dont want to leave my car at the airport (no need to pay!) and not going to pay for a service.

My work is literally across the street from Orange County airport so that could be an option.

Let me know your thoughts! Cannot wait to see if I can succeed!!!

I'm in! I read an article about someone who tried this on the Disney Parks Blog with the 2 Big Thunder Mountian Railroads. Are you trying the Disneyland one first or the Disney world one first?

Thats a good question. I always just thought I'd do it at the end but I never thought to do it at the begining of our trip!!!

I think I will do it on the last day of our Florida trip, so WDW first Just becuase our flight gets in at 9 on Sunday from Florida and that should give us enough time to get to DL afterwards.

Once we get to DL we should be smooth sailing because Sept is usually DEAD and no one really goes on Spalsh mtn at night. Sapce Mtn might be a challenge.
