2 ?s. DTD party and watermice

We will be staying at a DTD hotel just for the weekend. I thought I read somewhere that on the weekend nights there is a DJ dance party for kids at DTD but I can't find that info again. Does this ring a bell to anyone. Also my DS(9) would love to rent a watermouse boat. Does anyone have an opinion on the best place to rent them? Do you have to be staying on property? Thanks so much for your help.

BUT

I have rented them from all places you can. You dont need to be staying on property. I would say go to the Contemp. or Poly. That way you can get to the 7 Seas. Its cooler there because its a hige area and you can race the giant ferrys.

I can answer the watermice question. Poly, CR or WL would be a good place to rent. You have access to Bay Lake and 7 Seas Lagoon. You DS9 would not be able to drive the boat. I believe the age is now 16 to drive.

i would like to know how old one needs to be to drive also. my other question would be can my 12yo drive if im with him.

I think you have to have a valid drivers license to drive the boats. But your son could ride with an adult driver.

I saw the sign the other day at DTD and I think the dance party by the World of Disney store is 6:30 PM.
