Posting this question for a friend...she currently has a reservation for Pop for September for her and her DD, however now her DH might be going so she booked another reservation at CS for the three of them (same dates) is this allowed, of could Disney potentially cancel one of her bookings due to the fact that she currently has 2 in their system?

Thanks

They could, yeah. If you call on the phone they usually tell you they can't do that. Just depends on the CM.

There was a thread not too long ago about someone having multiples and Disney cancelled all of them. Granted, I think 2 is likely not to cause much if a stir. This other person had four, but I guess there's no way to know when or how they check and what they look for.

They could get cancelled. Tell your friend to choose a resort asap.

I personally would book the reservation with DH on it and get rid of one before the system cancels them both out, esp if your using the free dining promotion as those rooms seem very limited. I would think it'll be easier to take him off than add him on.

Why not just open a new MDE account and book the second reservation under that account?

They won't let her do it. Before they finally got the MB past the trials. You could but since she will have two trips but different resorts they will catch. Maybe not at first but they will. My friend tried it and both was cancel. She was lucky she could rebook with the resort she really wanted. Just my view. Good luck

Book POP with her as the lead guest and CSR with DH as lead guest (I would just put his name on the CSR reservation at this point). If he can't go, cancel CSR. If he CAN go, simply add her and DD to CSR at that time and cancel POP. Problem solved. Just make sure any cancellations are done within given timeframe. Up to 5 days prior for room-only reservations and up to 45 prior for package reservations.

I think it also depends if it's a package thing with tickets dining etc. vs room only. We couldnt get DH on two ressies. He was booked with us as. FD BB offer ( 5 in one room). We wanted more space so. I wanted a room only with discount for him, but keeping him in package room for FD / tix. No go.

Again I called and asked. Didnt try online with own MDE. Having a second MDE might work. Would want to hear about this. I would think if you have two MDEs, different contact, they would really have to cross check etc. might pop up if at same resort. But I can see repeat names happening all the time. How many John Smiths are there!!
