2 Questions! :) disney visa.

Hmm....I will have to keep an eye on my 21 day out papers too. I want that backpack :) lol very cute.

It's my understanding that you should get the bag regardless if it's a good neighbor or booking from Costco. Very interested in hearing about your experience as I am planning to be booking our trip any day.

Not sure about good neighbor hotels but the backpack is definitely not included if you book through Costco. I called a few weeks back because there was no mention of the backpack in our packet and they confirmed that the Disney rewards perks are not combinable with Costco package. Pretty much everything is the same except no backpack. However, you do get free premium character meal with Costco on top of whatever Disney is offering. For us, the free meal was worth more than the backpack.

so let's just assume I will be able to get the back pack ... Where in the park do I pick it up at?? :)

Were you able to get the 0% financing for 6 months?

Yes, it was automatically billed to our Disney card with the 0%.

I booked directly through Disney with my Disney Visa and they shipped the back pack along with my travel documents and luggage tags.

If I can figure out how to load a picture here I will post one up. :confused3

Wow...we travel to Disneyland about 2-3 times per year and always book with our Disney Visa and I have never received a back pack...nor do I remember reading about receiving one. This is interesting...I will need to read through my information very closely next time.;)

Where is the preferred parade seating? Do you need to check in with a cast member and reserve a seating?

This is how we received ours in the past and this year we booked through AAA but called the Disney Visa reservation line and made sure it was noted on our reservation that the payment was made with the Dis Visa and within an hour we received via email and updated invoice with the backpack and all of the other perks listed. Can't wait to see the backpack this year. :)

I read somewhere..I believe it was on the Disney visa website..if you book through the Disney website and pay with the Disney visa.. be sure to let the CM know that it is the Disney Visa you are using and ask about the Visa package. They should be able to update it for you. As long as you have not received all you stuff...call them and see about having it updated. Resort hotels and good neighbor hotels are all treated the same for this offer.

This years pack looks very close to the one previously posted but to be honest not quite as colorful. It is missing the fireworks. It is nice and light though. Can't wait to pack up and hit the parks.

I was Googling around and I found a AAA webpage that said you could add the backpack and parade viewing to your AAA package if you used the Disney VISA to book but you would lose the "AAA Disney Magic Moment Savings" discount. Can anyone verify if that's true. If it is, I might keep the AAA savings and buy a backpack. I like the reserve spot for the parades though.

OKAY... Today I called Disney to ask about the backpack .. the suspense was killing me!!! :) I spoke with a lovely woman who I gave my reservation # to .. then she just needed the first few numbers of the disney visa card we paid with and then she said she would add on that we get the backpack and special parade viewing! She said the backpack should come with my other documents 21 days out!! :) So now let's just hope it comes! :)
