2 questions about On-site resort and AP

Can anyone tell me if there are any AP discounts for the resorts this fall? Last year we took advantage of $59 a night at the value resorts and I was hoping to do it again...

Also... my AP expired in July and I plan on getting a new one when I go down this November - If there is a special price, do I have to purchase the AP before I book the room or just before I check in?

The last round of call-in AP rates end on October 4th. Now, they have the Best Rate Program. It's exclusive to AP holders and only bookable online or by a TA. You have to book a minimum of 60 days before arrival and the discounts are hovering around $70 off Deluxes, $40 off Moderates & $20 off Values.

In order to book it, you will need an active AP or a voucher. I'm assuming that you couldn't do it with an expired AP. Also, I think that it's too late for you to renew your AP, it's my understanding that you have to renew by your expiration date.

I had to provide the AP number from the back of the pass yesterday when I booked Pop Century, and it had to be valid...not a voucher. There is a one night deposit required to hold the room and that deposit is non-refundable.

OK... help me out with this one please... I'm flying down there in 55 days. (Not within the 60 day mark for BRP) so I don't think that plan would work for me anyways.
If I wanted to do the call-in way that is good until OCT 4th, then I would have to activate my AP before 10/4?
What are the call-in rates for AP right now?

Unfortunately, the only AP rates that you would be able to get for stays that start after Oct. 4th, would be BRP. Since you are arriving in November, you don't qualify for the last round of call-in rates that end Oct. 4th. Sorry.

I used my AP voucher to book my BR room without a problem.
