2 queens in a 2 bedroom at BCV?

Hi there,

We will have 1 couple and 2adults and 2 children in a two bedroom when we go in December. I reserved the room way back at the 11 month mark. Is there any chance I could get a 2 bedroom with 2 queen sized beds in the studio side if I request it now?

What advice does anyone have on how to accomplish this..

IIRC, at BCV, the 2 bedroom units with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom is a separate booking category (separate from the lock off units and the 2 bedrooms with 1 queen and a queen sleeper sofa in the second bedroom).

If your current reservation doesn't say you have one, call MS tomorrow and see if you can still reserve one. If not (and I believe these book rather quickly) ask if you can waitlist for one.

I don't remember reading about it being a seperate category in the member guide. Is it just an "inside secret" for people with experience? Just curious because otherwise they really should ask which two bedroom you want when you make the reservation. No big deal if we can't get it, but thanks for the info- I'll remember it for the next time!

It is probably not adverstised to well, because it was a big "mistake". All of the 2 bedroom Dedicateds at BCV were originally planned to have 2 queen beds and some how there was a "mistake" and they did not get the queen beds. It was then brought to the attention of someone and 25 of the dedicateds were changed to 2 queens. Apparantly these were the only 25 where the configurations of the rooms made it possible by some legal requirements. This then became a booking category at BCV. You actually reserve one, not request one. The confirmation does not always say 2 queens on it so you may very well have one if you have a dedicated booked.

You definitely have to book it. It is not a request. They can tell you when you book if they have any available. If not, as stated, you can wait list.

It is very hard to get one of these rooms at the BCV especially at 7 months out as we have tried and not had any luck.

They don't advertise it, as stated due to the mixup and not being able to swap out all the dedicated 2 bedrooms as was the orginial plan.

They have enough people booking them to keep them filled anyway.
