2 queen beds

I could swear that our 1 bedroom villa at BWV had 2 queen beds in the master bedroom.

Our 2 bedroom villa at BCV only had 1 king this year.

The WDW website shows 1 king for both 1 & 2 bedroom villas at BCV, BWV & VWL.

Does anyone else recall getting 2 queen beds?

This has probably been covered here before, but any quick thoughts/answers would be much appreciated.
 
The only time we ever had two queen beds was in a dedicated two bedroom at VWL and that was not in the master bedroom. Every time we have stayed at the BWV we have had a king bed in the master bedroom.

I don't think any room at BWV has 2 queen beds - even the studios have 1 queen and a double sleeper sofa.

OKW's studio has 2 queen beds and the second bedroom in a 2-bedroom at VWL has 2 queen beds and BCV will have.

Maybe you stayed in the hotel part - BWI has 2 queen beds?
 
The master bedroom in 1BR and larger villas at all DVC resorts have a King bed. None have any other configuration.

All studios at OKW have 2 queens (and all 2nd bedrooms also).

All studios (and 2nd BR's) at BWV have a queen and a sleep sofa.

At VWL and BCV there are some dedicated 2BR's that have 2 queens, but all lock-off studios at VWL. BCV, HH and VB have a queen and sleep sofa.
 

I am pretty certain that the 3-br Grand Villas at the Boardwalk do have 2 queen beds in the second and third bedrooms.

That's correct. All GV's (OKW, BWV and HH) have 2 queen beds in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms plus a queen sleep sofa in the living room.
 
What I just read in the new letter for DVC is that on January 6, 2003, all dedicated 2 BR's at the BCV will be converted to two queen beds. The remaining lock-offs will change to a Queen bed and a queen size sleeper sofa instead of a full size.
 
yes they are changing the sleeper sofa to a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom in a 2-bedroom dedicated - that was the plan all alone - but the master bedroom won't be changed. It will remain the king bed.

I do not know about the lock outs or the dedicated studios - I am not sure a queen sleeper sofa will fit - there is extra room but I don't know if it is that much.
 
Nink... Could you please let us know where you read this? What new letter from DVC are you referring to? I would love if this would be the case. The last I heard was that they were only changing 25 of the 78 dedicateds to Queen Beds.
 
Disney's Beach Club Villas Bedding Change

Bedding in the Disney's Beach Club Villas dedicated two-bedroom villas is being replaced to reflect the original plan for the property. Only the 78 dedicated two-bedroom vacation homes at the resort are affected, specifically the bedding in the second bedroom of these vacation homes. In 25 of the rooms, the full-size sofa bed will be changed to a queen-size regular bed. In the other 53 rooms, the full-size sofa bed will be changed to a queen-size sofa bed. Therefore, the second bedroom of each dedicated two-bedroom vacation home will have a queen-size bed, either another regular queen bed or a queen sofa bed. We are unable to change all rooms to regular queen-size beds due to Fair Housing regulations. As these two-bedroom vacation homes have slightly different configurations, not all could accommodate a regular bed.

The furniture changeover is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 6 and is expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete.
