Just back from a glorious week (12/3 to 12/10) at the World. We used Photopass with great results -- here are my two tips:

1. The www.disneyphotopass.com site is currently offering (looks like it's for the month of Dec., but I'll leave it to you to check the fine print) 20% off orders of $50 or more, and 30% off orders of $100. The offer is only valid online -- not offered in the parks.

2. You've seen this tip before, but do LABEL your Photopass card as soon as you get it (I put my email address on ours, using the Sharpie we carry for character autographs). I witnessed one very unhappy guest who wasn't convinced that the Photopass handed back to her by the photographer really was hers, and saw, several times, photographers trying to juggle/handle several cards at once.

I know others have reported bad experiences with this service, but it worked great for us. I always meant to (but never made the time to) check during our trip that the photos were good and were ours -- but faith paid off (I had no problem getting up to the 30% discount range!)

Good luck and enjoy your December trips!

I was very happy with our photo pass experience too! Like you said, it's easy to get to the $100 mark- I even wish I'd ordered more now!!

I saved 30%, too! Also, if you buy one set of greeting cards at $39.99, your second is $24.99, I believe.

We've had good experiences with PhotoPass, too!

dumb question.. what is photopass? I know I've heard of it, but I can't put my finger on it

Great Tip! Thank you, I took for granted how well my pictures would come out last trip, I lost like 3 of them, and the other two had some AWESOME pics on it, I'll be much more careful this time. :goodvibes

When WDW photographers take your picture you get a card with a code on it. You can view your pictures online or in the park. You can get the photos from that park printed there or check them out online from all the parks and order the pictures, which will be sent to you throught the mail.

We ordered the christmas cards online and they turned out really cute. We also got them in 2-3 days but weren't expecting them for 5-7 days.

Also, write your photopass account number (the number on your card) somewhere. That way, if you misplace your card, you can still access your pictures online when you get home.

Question...3 out of my 4 Photopass cards made it home. Of course, the one I don't have is the one with the best photos on it (Toontown Princesses w/ my daughters). I filled out the online application after clicking on 'Lost your Photopass,' but have yet to hear anything. Does anyone have any experience with this? I did this just two days ago, and I must be patient, but I really want to see these pictures! Any help/suggestions would be great!
