1st part (Time Share Exchange) Do you get a better exchange into Orlando if you wait on booking your time share exchange? I noticed this past year that I could have had a 3BD 3 BA in a really sweet place. Side note-We went to Mrytle Beach instead. :confused3 I DO NOT understand people's facination with this place. Unless you ONLY go to lay on the beach. It was lovely. The rest of the trip a total waste to me.

2nd (pre-buying) Should we buy our tickets ahead of time or wait????

3rd- Anyway to save on parking? Can you buy a week long pass or something??????

2 - Yes, buy from a reputable reseller, not someone on the street corner. You will get a good ticket from Disney directly, but you might get a slightly better price elsewhere.

3 - No, you will pay by the day. But once you pay for the day, you can move your vehicle to another one of the theme park parking lots at WDW, show your day's receipt from the first place you parked and not have to pay again. UNLESS, you choose to purchase an Annual Pass (unlimited theme park entry for 366 days and free parking).

For the timeshare question, I found lots of answers on another board, Timeshare Users Group (TUG for short). I was a new Marriott purchaser, and found some good info there.

It really depends on what you are trading, with whom (usually II or RCI), and the season. If you have your dates that you are going to Orlando, I'd start checking what you can get.

You can sign up for Mousesavers newsletter emails, and she includes a link periodically to an authorized ticket seller that can get a slight (few dollars) discount on the tickets. The downside to this is that you are spending the money ahead of time - and the tickets are usually a big chunk of our vacation money. I don't trust any of those shady "booths" you may see around Orlando.

I'd pay as you go for parking.
