So I've been eagerly reading all the hints / tips / cheat sheets etc.

I'm wondering if this is a good method...

as EMH days mean that park is busier - only go for the EMH

ie go to MK when it opens at 8am - do two hours cheat sheet style
then go for lunch.back to hotel etc. ie get out of the park once the extra hours are over.

book afternoon your 3 FP+ in another less busy park - say epcot?

am I right in assuming i can prebook 3 FP+ per person per day in one park.

lovely

That's the process we often follow if we're planning on hopping. We'll knock out what we want during EMH/late morning at one park and then hop to the next park. You're correct, you can book 3 FP+ per person for one park in advance.

Just came back from my trip and that's basically what I did. It worked out for us

Glad to see others have said it's worked. This is what we're thinking of doing next June. Go to one park in the AM and ride the couple that we'd like, and head out about noon. Make FP for another park later at night, enter that park about 5. Try to stay out of the heat of the day (even though it'll still be hot).

That is a good strategy OP, except that I would stay longer than just two hours at the morning EMH park. It will start to get busy around 10 or 11 (depending on the day), but won't get really bad until 1 or so, so you can stay through lunch.
