Does anyone know how long the 2 Park Unlimited Special for $79.99 will be on sale for? We are visiting in July and don't want to miss the deal but trying to hold off as long as possible to purchase... :)

It could end at any time. :worried:

Tink:

I am like you, I wanted to wait for a "better" deal, but with the advice of Metro, decided to go ahead and get them. I agree with him (Metro), they are the best deal out there, and trust me, I looked for days on the internet for coupons, etc. I also had to buy an annual pass and thought their might be a "deal" out there, but there wasn't. The time is now...BUY...LOL

:goodvibes

Has this deal been going on for a few weeks or a few months?

What does it usually cost?

I bought them yesterday for an August trip. I don't know how much they usually charge since this will only be my second trip to USF but it certainly looked like a great deal that I didn't want to miss.

I bought mine last July through AAA.......special is still going on...and on.....and on....lol. I am tempted to buy a second set for an "as yet unplanned" future trip!!

The deal has been going on for a while now but it could be pulled at any time. Just to give you an idea...the regular one day two parket tickets are $74.99 plus tax if you purchase them online...that's just ONE day! For a few bucks more, you can go for seven days.

:thumbsup2 This can change anytime. But if you do purchase them from what I understand, they are good indef ,until you activate them.:thumbsup2

I have another question: I bought all our tickets online (3 unlimited 7 day $81.00 and 1 annual pass). When I go and get the tickets, what is the procedure? I remember reading about a kiosk and entering the confirmation number and then scanning the credit card I used to buy them with. Are they like Disney where you have to put two fingers in a device? If so is this at the gate or at the kiosk? For the annual pass, do they take a picture?
I am just curious how much time is needed to get the tickets, and YES my wife prefers to have tickets in hand than just a print out from home (does this make sense?)

Thanks in advance!

If you selected "electronic pickup", you can go the the kiosk with the credit card used for the purchase and the tickets will print out there. For the AP, you would need to take it to Guest Services for them to activate it. The only AP that still has a picture is the Premier Pass...the Preferred looks like a regular ticket. Disney doesn't use the two finger scanners anymore but Universal does use a single scanner...unless it's really busy...then they will use a hand held scanner.

Thanks Metro, I knew you would have the answer!

One more stupid: The tickets...size of a credit card?

They had a similar deal last year when we went. We paid $85.99. I bought them again for our trip this past week at that same price, and shortly after I bought them they came out with the $79.99. I wasn't going to bother going thru any hassle to try and get the cheaper tickets.
