We're just back from two beautiful days at the POFQ (4/11-13). ALthough they are going to close to refurbish, the grounds were very well kept and the facility was beautiful. Most all of the CM's were wonderful and housekeeping did a top notch job. What a surprise to find out at check in that our DU Agent (thanks Beth!) had it set up so we'd have adjoining rooms with my parents who had arrived about a week before. I would definately return here to save points over the weekends or on a late night arrival to save points. I will now use DU for every non-point stay I have as well. My parents loved the room and were raving about the resort well before we arrived.
From the FQ we moved to a two bedroom at WLV, my parents couldn't believe the size of the accomadations. We had a first floor woods view room and the kids just loved seeing the ducks on the balcony everyday. Early in the day we could also let them run around outside to burn a little steam! Everything here was beautiful, but the full housecleaning was a disappointment since we were not resupplied and the floors were not given any attention. TT day made up for it in abundant supplies and some really cute washcloth bunnies and baskets which DD just loved--I do hate explaining why we can't take towel wildlife home with us! Having the washer and dryer in the room was a huge help and really made the arrival home a bit less painful. How nice it was to travel with only two suitcases for my family of four. I am looking forward to trying out OKW and BCV next, but I don't think any place will say home quite like WLV does to us.
