2 Magic band questions

I don't know if these have been asked but I didn't have the patients to read through all the comments

I am going to Disney with my fiance and her family in may. Future Mother in law made all the arrangements. Do we have to use her "Disney experience" and then some how connect it to mine so I can keep track of my fast passes and such or does she do all of that from hers? I'd really like to be able to control my own.

Also I saw where you can attach a credit card to your magic band and just use the band for everything in the park. Can I attach my credit card to just my band, or does one card go on the entire account?

She has an option to invite you to the planning on the disney site - that way you would be connected and able to make plans as well.

You can put your CC on your band at front desk, not sure about beforehand.

Like the pp said, you can have your own MDE and invite each other to share in planning to make sure you do rides etc together. As for dining, there was always an option to add additional people to the ADR.

You can link your cc to your MDE but you'll have to do it again at the front desk. New this year is the ability to have different CC's for each person staying in the room -- before that it was one cc per room and everyone charged to the same account.

No apology necessary -- this is the kind of information everyone needs when they're starting out. Or when they're going back -- there have just been so many changes, which is why it isn't as helpful to search old posts for information now.
