There was a previous thread about Italian Charms and I mentioned the Disney charms I purchased at a festival/chili cook-off in Florida for $2 each. I finally got a catalogue from the seller so I thought I would post an example of the Disney charms he has:

These are soooo cute! About how expensive is the bracelet itself to start with? Is this kind of along the lines of a charm bracelet, and you add charms as you go?

Italian charm bracelets aren't like regular charm bracelets in that you add charms to an existing bracelet. The bracelet is actually made up of the charms. You usually start with some blank charms to have enough to make a bracelet and then you replace the blanks with actual charms as you get them.

I have been told it's bad luck to buy yourself charms so all mine have been given to me.
