Part 6!
After lunch at CO we each ordered a wonderful halloween dessert. It was a hazelnut tiramisu with pumpkin mousse. It was so delicious I for got to take a picture until I was halfway through.
Here is what it should look like.
Since we each ordered our own dessert, we each got to keep a mug!
Apparently, after lunch we rode POTC. I say apparently because I do not remember. I have memory issues...
After our pirate cruise, we had back to HMH to once again see Jack and his friends. I love being able to bypass the line with a wheelchair. We waited approximately 10 minutes to board, while the stand-by line was a good 30 minutes.
I took this shot coming back up the stretching room after we got off the ride. I love watching the portraits turn back to normal!
After leaving the mansion, we saw some ghoulish faces in NOS. Jack and Sally were out taking pictures and signing autographs. It was about 2:30 on a saturday at this point. I'm not sure if they have a specific schedule or not.
We decided that we did not want to wait in line at this time, but Chris was determined to get a picture with them before the trip was over.
At that point, my mother wanted to do some shopping, so we headed to Main Street USA.
My mom really wanted to pick up some baked goods, so we stopped in Blue Ribbon Bakery.
I wish I would have remember to take pictures of the items she bought. Oh well.
We spent some time on Main street, mostly in the emporium. My mother had some souvenir shopping she wanted to do and Chris was on a mission for pins. I mostly walked around and looked at the things that I wish I had the money for.
After Chris and my mother picked up a few items in the Emporium, we headed to DTD!
I love the World of
Disney store! I could spend hours in there! They have great stuff.
After spending a good chunk of time in WOD, we headed to Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express. The food was really good and it makes me really want to try the regular menu.
My mother got a hamburger. She would not let us take a picture though. Chris took pictures of our food while I got up and got some ketchup.
Chris had the popcorn shrimp, which he really enjoyed.
I got the BBQ Po-boy which was amazing!
Mom was tired....
Chris spent the time waiting for the food, affixing his new pins.
After dinner, we slowly trudged back to the DLH to drop my mom off for the night. Once she was comfortable, we headed back to DTD and took the monorail back into the parks. We wanted one last quick ride on SMGG before we went to the 2nd showing of F! .
We got on SPGG using our FP's. I don't think we ever waited more than 20 minutes for this ride at all during our trip. I loved what they did with it for the halloween season, and cannot wait to see it again next year!
They had warnings all throughout the queue, but parents were still bringing terrified children on. I think there were a lot of meltdowns.
coming up... part 6b. Just a couple more pics from the end of the night!
