2 For The Price of 1: One Trip Done; One More to Plan!

I'll start by saying YAYYYY GIANTS for kicking some Redskins butt yesterday! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

And great installment! The Beauty and the Beast and Indy pics came out so good. That was really cool that your sister got chosen too. So nice of the CMs to pull Amanda's wheelchair on stage in order to get a good picture, there's the Disney magic for ya! :thumbsup2

That's exactly what happened to me! I wonder if photobucket should be notified - can they track something like that?

I did email them about it and they haven't replied.

I did email them about it and they haven't replied.

I'd be curious to see if they ever do reply. The guy at Geek Squad told me that some sites are just really lax in looking out for this stuff; wasn't surprised at all when I told him it's one of the sites I'm on frequently. He also said it pops up alot on MySpace and Facebook - so beware!

Anyway, my computer is back and working just fine! I've been so busy trying to update my TR that I've forgotten to get some posts in here too. Afterall, Lauren's birthday trip is less than three months away and I still have some plans to finalize!

Stay tuned!

Cammie-I LOVE, LOVE and did I mention I LOVE Beauty and the Beast!!:lovestruc :lovestruc Thank you so much for all the shots. When my camera died a horrific death in FL last year I was most disappointed in that I couldn't get my pics of the show off. :sad1: We had the best experience with Belle and the Beast in Epcot.

I loved all of the shots (including cute butt).

Loved the installment.:cloud9:

Ooh - I love Beauty and the Beast so much too! I get teary and goose-bumpy throughout the whole show! I really think it's one of Disney's best!

Glad everyone is getting a rise out of the "butt" shot!;)

Great installment! I love the tip about sticking around after the Indy show for autographs.

Last time we went my kiddos were picked to open the show with "Lights! Camera! Action!" Soo fun!

It's nice to hear of those little secrets, isn't it? Makes the whole experience even more special! Thanks for reading!

:thumbsup2

Nice report so far. I love the Beauty and the Beast show too so I enjoyed all your pics. Looking forward to seeing more of your trip.

Thank you! Hopefully I can get the next installment up tonite!

Hi Cammie! Great TR!!! It was great meeting you and your beautiful girls...How funny is it that Lauren thinks Andrew is cute? Love it!!! Love the butt shot as well!

Thank you everyone for saying I have that glowing pregnant look! I am so much bigger now. Someone actually thought I was about 8 months today...um, no, just fat! ;)

Ellen, I cannot wait to have a real cocktail...the O'Doul's and N/A wine is just not cutting it.

Kat, What can I say? You are such a dear friend!!!

Mari, No TR writing for me either. I usually do a dining/drink review but I didn't take many pics this past trip. I will definitely do one next time so I can contribute to your great forum...

It was so great meeting everyone!

Hey Lauren - how are you feeling these days? And I sympathize with ya, girl - O'Doul's FAILS as a substitute for the real thing.

You sure take great pictures-Cammie.

Hi-jack-FormerCastmember-If it makes you feel any better, I think Cammie told me you were having a baby, and I would have never guessed it, you barely showed and you are no way fat. People don't know what to say when you are pregnant, and they usually end up saying the stupidest things that they would never say to someone that isn't pregant.

Hi Marisa - thanks for stopping by! And see, Lauren? Stop calling yourself fat - you are the giver of life!:worship:

Great update Cammie! How fun that your family got to sit up front and be part of the action! I love the pic of you and Amanda at B&B! She is looking at you with such sweetness! :lovestruc Lauren and your niece are really sweet together, too!

Your time at PT looks fun! We kind of avoid being involved in scenes like that - DH seems a little grumpy, but he's just shy. Maybe sometime with a large group!

Thanks Tammie! Funny, you think Amanda is looking at me with sweetness; I think she's looking at me and telling me to stop taking so many darn pictures!

And, you should PTC a try. They are pretty good at reading how receptive people are; if your husband isn't in to it, they'll leave you alone.

Great installment- love all those photos- your sister looked like she was having alot of fun on that stage! And it was nice to see Beauty and the Beast- you know my boys would never go- maybe Lonnie will want to in May!

But about Lauren on ToT..... I thought you guys said that ride was not a big deal???!!! :scared:

Definitely make Lonnie see Beauty & the Beast with you! I wish I could go too!

11-1, baby!!! :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: (a little fed up with that knucklehead Plaxico though!)

And thanks for the compliments. Yes, the CMs always treat Amanda so well. It's one of the biggest reasons we keep going back!

Great report I am hooked. I think I had the same computer virus you had. It was not fun!

Hey stich! I didn't realize you had snuck your post in between my two installments - and I don't like to overlook anyone who leaves a comment so......

THANKS for reading! And, yeah, I was a little panicked at first about the virus; but Geek Squad said I did the right thing but shutting down at the first sign of my computer acting weird. I probably avoided things being much worse!:scared:

YAY! So glad you were able to get your computer cleaned up. I am taking note of how that virus looks and will be sure to just completely shut off my computer should it ever pop up. What a pain!

Loving the updates-all the pictures of the girls are so great! You guys accomplished a LOT before your lunch ADR. I had totally forgotten about the desserts on the Viewmasters at 50s. I love that you went to search for them and then got yelled at. :rotfl: What other resturant would you be allowed to do that?! Too funny.

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME report!! It just keeps getting better!

First of all, tell Lauren we are proud of her for attempting the Tower of Terror. That picture of her is PRICELESS!!! She looks terrified....as I am sure my DD would be also. Secondly, it must be awesome for her to be the "cool" older cousin! I'll bet she loves that! In that picture of her at the 50s, you can really tell that she has grown since the last trip.

I thought it was great the way Sorcerer Mickey and the Indy Jones cast treated Amanda. You can tell that the CMs at Disney really go above and beyond in most cases to make special needs children feel the Disney magic. Those shots of Mickey giving her a hug were precious.

Loved seeing the photos of the Bolt characters. Our family went to see the movie this past week while I was off work for Thanksgiving. We all enjoyed it very much!! I think it is now one of DD's favorites. She will be excited to know that those characters are at DHS.

I'm glad you all had a great time at the 50s! We had a blast! I think we are going to go back again on our next trip.

Again, we are really enjoying your report. :thumbsup2

Cant wait for morepopcorn::

Thanks for checking in, stitcharoo. Next installment - coming up!

Hey Brook! I'm now so cautious with everything that pops up on my computer!

And, yes, 50sPTC was alot of fun! I LITERALLY got yelled at through the whole restaurant as I made my way back to the table!

Alan - The way the CMs treat Amanda is one of the biggest reasons why we go to WDW every year - it's the one place I know I can take her to where every effort will be made to include her and make her feel special!

And as for ToT - this was Lauren's 3rd time on it and she swears NEVER AGAIN!

After our late lunch at 50s PTC, we headed out of DHS and back to the Boardwalk. We took about an hour to freshen up and then were headed back out to the Magic Kingdom for PM EMH!

It was Sunday night and was also the first night of the castle being lit in it's icicle lights! I was so excited! We stepped onto Main Street and were thrilled to see some Christmas decorations:

The castle lighting ceremony had just started, so we just stopped and waited.......

They light it slowly - section by section:

I really think the castle is just so beautiful lit like this!

After the castle lighting, we headed over to Buzz Lightyear. It wasn't real crowded, so the CMs let us ride it three times in a row! I rode all three times with Amanda, while my nieces and nephew took turns riding with Lauren.

We then made our way over to Frontierland for HM and BTMRR; then on to Adventureland for Pirates and then Jungle Cruise.(I love riding it at night!)

After feeding the kids a quick snack, we went back to Liberty Square to secure a spot for SpectroMagic! This is a great parade for Amanda because she just loves the lights!

Amanda's favorite princess, Snow White, came over to say hello - in all her "sparkly" glory!

continued from last post............

Now I can't quite remember what really went on next. I have a memory of one of the kids wanting ice cream, so my sister took them all over to Main Street. Amanda and I were determined to find a prime viewing spot for Wishes because - yes, believe it or not, we have NEVER seen it! We have been going to WDW every year for the past 10 years and just never stopped to watch it!

I thought I found a pretty good spot to the left of the castle when my sister called. They were all at Casey's - the adults were hungry. She told me she had a table and a perfect view of the castle. Ok - so off I went. Well, the spot was not so perfect! There were umbrellas and trees in my line of sight!:headache: I wasn't going to complain too much though - the kids all had a seat and we could see most of Wishes, I just didn't get the best pix. Sorry!(just another reason to go back!)

Yeah - that's supposed to be Tinkebell!(stupid umbrella!)

Not the best shots, I know. I swear, one of these days, I'm going to buy one of those little bendy tripods from BestBuy so I can mount my camera and officially put it on the "firerworks" setting to get the best pix.

After the fireworks, the kids were pretty tired and it was actually getting quite cold. We decided to head on out - since we had 8:55 ADRs in Norway for the Princess breakfast the next day. Besides, we also had tickets to the first MVMCP for the next night also - and we were definitley planning on staying out late for that!:yay:

Next installment............Breakfast with the princesses; dinner and Christmas party and MK!:santa:

(I just previewed this post and realized how bad the fireworks shots are! Oh well, I took them so I thought I might as well post them!)

Oh Cammie- I love that Snow White came over to Amanda and held her hand- she must have been SOOO excited, especially because it was sparkly Snow White! I'm crying some happy-tears for her!!

YES! Bendy tripods! We ALL need them!!! I know what I'm adding to my Christmas list!:thumbsup2

Hi Cammie! Sounds like Day 2 was a really FULL day! You started at DHS just after rope drop and ended just after Wishes? Yep, that's a full day!!

From BW, do you take a boat to DHS or a bus? I'm curious because we are planning to have dinner at the Flying Fish on our DHS day, and I'm thinking it would be fun to take the boat to BW.

Alan

(p.s. - we appreciated you including the fireworks photos!! It helped in the story-telling aspect of the trip report! Nice job as usual!)

Alan - You're being too kind on the fireworks shots - but Thank you!

As for getting to DHS from BW - we walk, which bugs the heck out of Lauren! The boat is very nice but -- you get on at BW, then it goes to the B&YC, then Swan&Dolphin, then DHS. It's a nice walk along the water - only about 15 minutes. It just may be me but I'd rather be moving and getting somewhere rather than waiting on a boat!

Thanks for the info! That's good to know! So about how long is the boat trip round trip from DHS? We are a family of "walkers" so we may be better off walking to BW for dinner.

OMG, that boat is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! But couldn't you take it to the Swalphin (stops there 1st from DHS) and then walk? Then you could have a little of both.
