2 Families- 1 Resort- Booking questions???

My friend and I are taking our kids to WDW in July. We'd like to be near each other ( hopefully next door ). Do we each book the room seperately or do I book both rooms and put 1 room in each of our names? We're staying at POP, but, may upgrade to CBR. Thanks!

I would think for room charging she would need a room in her own name. If she is not going to charge to her room and if she is going to pay cash for her room you just put both in your name and have her pay you her portion and you might be able to request connecting rooms.

We've done this before and just had them note on our reservation our request to be in adjoining rooms with Mr. and Mrs. X. Have them do the same on their reservation. Then at check-in, they'll do what they can do. If not adjoining, I'm sure they could get you close.

I am doing this also and when I booked my room, I asked how to handle this. They told me that when my friend makes her reservation, she should give them my reservation # and ask that they be linked together. Hope this helps.
