2 Days until AKV - Kidani - Give me some tips

Can't help being excited about our trip on Saturday. We have not stayed at AKV, and my daughter is about to burst.

So...I have read here that they do movies on the Tennis Courts and some tours around the place...let me know what I else I should not miss.

Saturday we should be there by early afternoon, and we always just hit the pool on our arrival day. We like to relax and veg out. We do have ADR's at Boma.

We are staying in a 1 Bedroom Standard View - not sure if I should have any special request, top floor maybe???

OK AKV People - let me know what we should be doing at the Resort. I will post back when we return!

We too are arriving this weekend in a 2 Bed Ded Standard view. First trip to AKL and no expectations as of yet. Did do some exploring the second week they opened and from what I observed a standard view gets you a view of the parking lot to the south or view of the driveway/pool area to the west. As far as what floor, the higher up the further you can see the grassy field behind the pool area/b-ball courts. Will probably see you there, just lookout for the ring circus I call my children.

I drove over on our last trip to see the resort - just figured we would save points and get the standard view. I had just read some cool things on the board and wanted to see if there was more info - dont want to miss anything.

We are arriving Saturday also! It's our first stay there since we bought 2 years ago! We are all really excited! We are in a Kidani 2 bedroom Savanna view. Easiet way to spot us is my son will guaranteed be wearing a John Deere shirt (he lives for John Deere)!

I just wanted to say that y'all are going to have a blast! We just got back Saturday night from a weeklong stay at Kidani, and we loved every minute of it! And I have to add that the pool brought out the kid in me! I went down the slide over and over, something I haven't done in almost 25 years!

There is so much to do there. When you check in you should be given a list of daily activities, if you don't receive it ask for it or check by bell services where daily activities are usually posted. Enjoy!

We are arriving on Friday for a 2 night stay ! We have a ded 2 bedroom---Sav. View and it will be our first visit to the new Kidani area. We have stayed previously at AKL (prior to DVC opening) and totally loved it. My Husband is running (walking) in the 13K Tower of Terror Race Saturday evening in Hollywood Studios----anyone else doing that race ?
