Little late in day for my posting. Too many interruptions and stuff to do this morning. Dog ate my lunch and had to make it again. I'm not getting mad because I'M ON VACATION as of right now. Need to do all the pre-vacation errands tomorrow but I'm totally in VACATION mode now.
Now to reveal myself and my favorite Disney character. Ok, I'm kind of partial to the Fav 5 especially Mickey. (He's the big star) But, when I was a little guy, my mom took me to see "Jungle Book" at a really fancy theatre. It may have been when the movie first premiered because I see that the film date is 1967. The music and movie had a big impact on me at the time and I really loved this character. As you can see, I got the fantastic opportunity to meet him in real life 40 years later. He was so gracious. Fame has not spoiled him.

See you again soon, Baloo! BLT, here we come! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

Great picture - and you two even match!

I know what you mean about associations....when I was pretty young, I went to the theater to see 'Lady and the Tramp,' with Winnie the Pooh as a short beforehand. I didn't go to the movies very often - this was a huge deal and a big treat.

To this day, Lady and the Tramp is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies.

Two more days - how will you stand the waiting??? :yay::yay::yay:

Nice picture! In the '80 s we used to take our DSs to the NJ Museum in Trenton for their Sunday afternoon movies. For whatever reason, The Jungle Book was often the feature film.

Had to share...here is our favorite Rafiki!!! DD watched Lion King over 500 times when she was 6 years old! Have a great vacation DVC Dreamer!!!!!!

We look alike, right. Gotta have the fleece in January.
You got my point exactly. The film made a lasting impression on me.
Time will fly now. Tomorrow will be busy and early Sunday am flight. We should be in WDW for noon.
