2-Days for Parks

In January, I have 2 Days for the Parks at WDW with Park Hopper Tickets. What strategy do you suggest?

Put together a list of things you want to do, learn if you get hotel guest early entry & deluxe guest late hours then decide if you're buying any lightening lanes. If those things don't make sense, start googling. It's pretty easy to get an overview of them and from there you can start sketching out a plan.

I agree with above. Figure out which three things in each park are most important for you to do, and accept that anything else is gravy. Plan to start early and stay late. I might consider visiting MK and AK one day and Epcot and DHS the other. If you’ll have a car, use it; if not, provide more details i.e. are you starting from a Disney resort or from offsite, and folks here will try to help.

Would be helpful to know if you have ever been to Disney before, the age of those in your party and what are the major things you want to see/do? Disney parks are HUGE and can involve MILES of walking, hot weather certain times of year and generally large crowds.

Thanks for the advice. I think my main question is with all the current construction and updates being made, which parks are worth spending my time in? I have been many times before, and it is just myself as I meeting some friends and I just had a few days in Orlando.

Personally, I would skip AK unless you are very keen on Avatar, Everest, or safari.

I’ve been many times as well, so if I had limited time, I’d focus on things that were new to me or were my favorites. I have favorites in all 4 parks, so I wouldn’t skip any, but I’d try to be realistic about travel time and methods between parks as well as within the parks.

I’d likely buy LLMP for both days.

Day 1 - Start at HS and move over to Epcot, end the day with Luminous.

Get to sleep asap lol

Day 2 - Start at AK and move to MK, plan to see night parade and fireworks.

We recently had a 4 day trip. 2 days we hopped we had LLMP and it worked pretty good.

A lot of this is still dependent on what your preferences are. There are closures all over the place, AK might suffer the worst from it right now, but a lot of people enjoy what's still open (I don't care about Dinoland so that closure doesn't impact me at all). As such, one response since this posts recommends passing on AK and two include it in their itinerary. There isn't really a one-size-fits-all plan.

FWIW I'm doing two days next year and my itinerary is completely different from what's been suggested so far.

OP, Are you staying on-site? If so, definitely purchase park hoppers (unless you already have an AP) and LLMPs for both days and prebook your 3 attractions. If you're off-site, you still might want to consider this. It'd help a lot.

I personally would never skip DAK, but I love it there, even just to walk around and soak up the amazing horticulture and architecture, although, of course, I'd be doing FoP and KS no matter what. And if you're going before Dinosaur goes extinct and you enjoy that ride, you might want to squeeze that in as well.

Another consideration is: Where do you want to eat? QS? TS? Favorite place(s)? Lunch? Dinner? Snacks? Your own PB&J? That'd be a consideration for me.

If there are new attractions you haven't yet experienced, you might want to do the ones that seem interesting to you.

And if I were here for only 2 days, on at least one of them I'd be planning to see the MK fireworks.
